WHAT: Takane invites Haruka over to her house to play a sweet video game she echoed back.

[It had been a long time since Haruka had felt this excited. Living a life that essentially forced him to forever abstain from video games, he was finally going to get to play one for more than a few minutes here and there. And not just any video game, some kind of incredible game that Takane had received through her echoes. A one of a kind! If that wasn't enough to leave him laying sleeplessly in his bed the night before, the fact that he'd get to see Takane's room after all this time, was. Hopefully his parents would believe that he was merely "helping her study."

The next day, as soon as Takane would come home from school, Haruka would be waiting in front of her house for him. Even though the march air is quickly warming into springtime, Haruka is still affixed with a scarf. Even so much as waiting outside for a few minutes needed extra precaution when it comes to Haruka's fragile state. As soon as the two make it inside, Haruka has an enormous grin plastered across his face as he pulls off his jacket and scarf..]

I was beginning to think you'd never show up! Well then, I guess we're heading to your room this time, huh?

[He looks up at her hand, and then at her quickly reddening face. He can't help but start to laugh a bit. It's so silly, but he can't say it doesn't feel kind of nice...]

Hehehe, I guess it couldn't have been you! [A big, sincere smile.] You're much more gentle than she was.

[She's half-tempted to prove him him wrong now that he's said that, but no, her touch stays light and nervous.

She doesn't even notice herself smiling a tiny bit as she lingers there longer than she intended.

It is nice.]

[Haruka can't help but lean in a little closer to her, close enough that their shoulders are touching. Takane is usually so rough and irritable, this really is a welcome change. He doesn't say anything for a while, just sighs contentedly at this peaceful moment.

Eventually though...]

So...With that settled...[He starts to laugh sheepishly.]

We should probably ask around about the fact that you have a doppelganger running around, just in case, aheh, ahehehe...

[As soon as he speaks she pulls her arm back and hides her face in her hands out of embarrassment.]

[Haruka, ever the brightest crayon in the box, figures she's covering her face out of worry rather than embarrassment. He places a reassuring hand on her back.]

Don't worry, I haven't seen her around again, so maybe it was just a one time thing? Like that lighter that was in my house...

Maybe we should distract ourselves with some more of our game? I think I have a newfound appreciation for all these gory little animals...
