four | action/voice
[Action - An alley near McDonalds]
[An alleyway a block or two down from the closest McDonald's to Locke High becomes the site of a series of horrified, guttural screams. It's a young boy's voice, shrieking "My head" over and over in between the shouts of agony. It sounds like someone is being murdered. Of course, this is an alleyway rarely crossed, and thus, no one is around to help him. The screams go on and on until they eventually subside, and by the time anyone can get to him, it's already too late.
Connie is curled up in a ball against a chain link fenced, drenched in the water from a nearby puddle. His crumpled form is a pitiful sight, as he sits motionlessly, hands clinging to his skull. His bare, hairless skull. The giant, man-sized brush is no where to be seen, leaving whatever happened to him a total mystery. At least, if you didn't know of his glorious afro beforehand. Anyone who wants to offer him a hand can, but he doesn't look ready to go anywhere any time soon.]
[Voice - Network]
[A few minutes afterwards, he takes out his phone and addresses the network.]
All of it's gone.
It's all gone, there's nothing left. They took it from me. Everything. Nothing...I'm nothing now...[For the first time ever, the network get's to hear what Connie sounds like when he's not making an ass of himself and joking around. He chokes back a sob.]
What do I do...This is b-bullshit...Why me...?
F-Fro...
