oo1 ❚ i'm a confident liar ( backdated to 05/14, late evening )
( the handwriting that appears is hurried, a bit ragged. panicky squiggles, written in a way as if the writer is running. a terrible handwriting. if anyone notices it as well, the handwriting seems to be blending in with some other type of writing.
fading ink. typewritten. reversed. )
can someone tell me what exactly is outside?
( the handwriting pauses. she's not tried this so far, has been avoiding to trying it despite writings, faces, images appearing where she doesn't want it to appear. wanting to believe that no, this isn't right. )
and if it's something i can avoid on my way home?
( more scribbles, smaller than the previous ones. "does this even work?" "what if it doesn't?" "the library is creepy at night"... )
i think i'm going crazy now.

You're probably not any crazier than the rest of us. Which I guess isn't saying much, really.

( she pauses. probably not. )
never mind. maybe i was just imagining it.

Nah, I can't hear it over a text, but a lot of other people on here have heard it. Sounds like a wolf howl, right? So far it hasn't been dangerous, just creepy as hell. You should be okay getting home.

( calm down, lina. her handwriting gets tinier, mostly since she's running out of paper. )
are you sure?

( the handwriting completely stops as she tries to rummage for another piece of paper. maybe it's much better to use her phone for this. )

Anyway, sounds like you got the howling wolf. It should go away in a little while, if it hasn't already.

i got the howling wolf? is there anything else aside from it?

Text.
Now, what precisely do you believe is outside.
[Is it a mugger or just the wind or what?]
no subject
i don't know, to be honest.
( the other person she's spoken to wasn't helpful in terms of telling her what it is really. )
i'd rather not know, to be honest.

[That sounds rather ominous. Hmm... not only is it in the police code to protect people, but Richard is pretty interested in what might be out there.]
If you would like, I can come and survey the surrounding area for signs of anything suspicious.

It would not be imposing. Should there in fact be a threat to your safety, best to determine what the danger is and eliminate it if possible.
no subject
( dingdingding! she doesn't know how to say "no" straight out. )
won't it be dangerous for you as well?
no subject
All of us are facing difficulties and suffering as you are. This may not make the situation with your family any more pleasant, but it is a truth worth accepting and quickly.
I can handle myself, you needn't worry. Given your selection of parchment, I am assuming you are at a library?

did you hear it within the vicinity of the library too?

Did you get someplace where you feel safer yet?
no subject
