[In the Tsukuyomi household, the early morning is greeted by an ear piercing scream. Several minutes later, video comes on the Network, although you can't see anyone - just Lily's ridiculously tidy room.]

So, I'm guessing everyone's seen it right? On the news. The light over Vegas.

[Her voice comes across as a bit clipped. Clearly irritated.

You may notice why as she sits down. Her expression is deadpan. Her hair... Is no longer black. It is, rather, completely purple.]

It gave me a pulse.

[This is said through grit teeth. She's obviously not happy. In fact, this kind of irritation is rarely seen from her.]

So... please do be careful. It seems like something big is starting up elsewhere. If the same things that happened here start happening there...

[She trails off and sighs. She just ends it there. Her aggravation is far too vivid and she's clearly not in the right mind for this at the hour.]

[Announces his coming in with a recording, so to speak, with that, and peculiarly he's got himself in an active mostly-monotone library-voice even after - the message's foreboding, somehow, even off only this much, and for heaven's sake he probably could have asked Nick later on but alas.]

[She stares for a few moments. As someone she hadn't spoken with since her arrival on the Network, Anthony then and now is a bit of a contrast.]

...the second set of lights last September is what gave me my first memory. But, I know there was another set before then.

It looked to be the same thing, according to what I saw on reports last night.

It's kind of pretty, really. I liked it before, but this seems... softer, somehow. I'm a little b-biased, but... it suits you, I think. I'll want to examine it closely, though. It would... be bad if past-you didn't take good care of her hair and that c-came across.

[Sighing, her expression turns a little more serious.]

Last night, though... I saw the news, too. I'm wo-worried. But... before I say anything, I want to ask you, Lily. What... do you think we should do? Not we as in the n-network, but... we, as in us. I... I know what I want to do. But I can't just go off on my own anymore.

[She seems to visibly shrink upon notice of Winter. Okay, she was expecting that and its not like she'd have been able to hide it from her, but... Her gaze shifts from the camera while she sinks down into her seat.] Yes, yes, I know, it's--

[Winter's words catch up to her then, and her eyes snap back to the camera. She sits back upright and her cheeks brighten in a noticeable fashion.] P- pretty? [She has a moment of trying to connect those words to her in her head, reaching up and nervously twirling a strand of the hair around one finger.] N- no, I mean... that, I-

[Words, girl.] ...if you want a closer look, though, that... would be fine...

[She drops her hand and coughs into it once, straightening her posture further and trying to compose herself.]

R- regardless... It's not really something that can be left unattended, is it...? Maybe more people will receive echoes from there, maybe we'll end up with more of us appearing, but... We sort of have a handle on things, more or less, right? This kind of threat isn't just going to end at our city limits. Not anymore.

[Her eyes appear focused, but she smiles a bit.] I think I know what you want to do, too. I'm not really sure if we can do anything but that and expect to live up to these powers, can we?

[Good morning, Lily, have a very frazzled-looking Raye on the video feed with her head down on top of her folded arms.]

I saw it. Fuck the news. Fuck it forever. I'm never watching the fucking news again.

[She hazards a glance over her arms before thudding her forehead against the table again, and offers a halfhearted thumbs up.]

[Lily blinks rapidly, and contemplates her response before going on.]

Are you okay, Raye?

[She opens her mouth to comment on the hair to argue, and then flushes pink again, Winter's previous assessment of it running through her head.] ...it will take some getting used to.

[Sigh.] Of course it did. Anytime one of us sees those, it's what happens. And I guess this all could only be confined to Locke for so long.

I could have done without this, though. Probably. The last pulse I got I learned how to fly. It figures I'd pay for that somehow.

[ Marina takes a few minutes to get out all the snickering before responding. When she does, she's sitting on her bed, holding up a small, round, blue gem, rolling it between her fingers. ]

I bet Winter likes it.

[ Of course she does. Smiling, Marina holds out her gem in her left hand, and picks up her sword from off camera in her right - then the sword turns into a flash of blue light and flies into the gem, disappearing entirely. ]

[Embarrassed enough she glosses over Marina's snickering, but her eyebrows shoot up at the gem's ability.]
