Seventh Bullet - Video; Laptop
Sorry I'm late to the check-in, but it took a while to get back home. I didn't really want to explain to my parents that I got knocked unconscious during the fight, so I told them I was staying with some people who got hurt during the attack to make sure they were going to be okay. Not sure if they're convinced, but at least they've stopped asking questions.
[He runs a weary hand over his face. Going back to his parents' house wasn't a whole lot of fun, but he knew he'd have to eventually even if he tried returning to Roy's place instead. Not only that, he did still worry about how his parents may have fared during the attack.]
Anyway, I figured I should give everyone a heads up. I learned something new about my power in the middle of all of that, and... well, the short and sweet version is, every time I heal someone I have to give up some of my own life. I'm not a hundred percent sure what the full effects of that are going to be, but the last time I gave it a shot I ended up coughing up blood and passing out, so... Unless I figure out a way to not risk dying every time I heal someone, I'm going to have to stop.
Sorry.

Likely it didn't do you any favors, if you're getting worn down.
At least you're not wandering around the streets like that. How did your parents take your homecoming?
text;
[Not that it's very surprising. That would be the normal reaction, after all.]
I thought dad was going to faint when he saw the blood. He still wasn't too happy even when I explained that it was someone else's.
[...For the most part, anyway.]
text;
Are you going to be okay over there?
[He's talking emotionally, what with Akito's bad pulses and all.]
text;
That does remind me though. I left some of my stuff at your place, which means the gun is in your house. Sorry I didn't mention it before, but I kind of figured you wouldn't approve even if I didn't want my parents stumbling on it while I wasn't around.
Do you think you could hold onto it though?
[A pause. And then...]
I just don't want that pulse from a while back to cause anything here.
[It's a terrifying thought. But perhaps what's more terrifying is the fact that he feels he needs to seriously consider the possibility at all.]
text;
[Angry? Yes. But not quite as angry as he would have been. Roy's mainly just exasperated and annoyed this was kept from him. How the hell would he have explained that to his mother?]
Fine. Sure. I'll keep an eye on it.
Where is it?
text;
Sorry. I figured you wouldn't have to know as long as I kept it hidden.
text;
You're just lucky my mother didn't run across it.
