I've given over expecting these pulses to make sense, at this point, and I just try to hope that I'll understand eventually.

It wouldn't be as bad if part of the pulse didn't make me feel like I was missing part of myself, you know? I don't think I'd feel as desperate to find 'em if it weren't for that.

[More than anything, it's that clawing feeling of absence in his chest that's driving him up the wall.]

I'd suggest doing more of what made you remember him in the first place, but that doesn't always work....

Man, I don't even know if it's a him. I've gotten a couple of voice-only memories that seemed important, one was a man's voice, the other was a woman. It could be either of 'em, or someone else altogether.

[A beat, then an awkward chuckle.]

I'm pretty sure I've gotten drunk with people since the first time I got a pulse about 'em, so I don't think that one's gonna work, no.

[Maybe he can poke Nick or Yuji to talk about their partnership more?? He has no idea at this point.]
