Action, whenever school is back in session.
Because of a certain clip that kept airing on the news, Marisa had gone from "That one weird girl in my class" to something of a celebrity at school. At first she enjoyed the attention, but as she realized it involved lots of people being afraid to talk to her it quickly started to wear thin. As she toddled down the halls on crutches, some people just stared, lots whispered "Wasn't she on TV?" or the like, some looked nervous. At first she tried actually answering questions, usually with snarky non-answers. After the fifth person asked her why she was walking on crutches when she could fly, anonymously shouted from the crowd in the halls rather than to her face, Marisa heaved a sigh. They wanted a show, she'd give them a fucking show.
She stopped on her way to AP calculus, closed her eyes, then hovered about a foot into the air. As the crowds in the hall parted before her in surprise and silence, she drifted on towards class.
Of course, after the initial surprise wore off this only made the attention worse. At least she didn't have to get around on crutches anymore.

Which is why she had to comment when Marisa started floating by down the hallway. "...fucking showoff."

She appended on to this an infuriatingly carefree shrug.

She's pushing. She can't help it. It's her nature.

She looked down thoughtfully, "I wonder if I can hide where I live from them."

So he covered the unease the best way he knew - taking it out on other people.
“Lame. Go higher, put some effort into it.”

So she's looking pretty crabby when she sees Marisa floating. "Got tired of hobbling then?"

She actually gave Reimu a proper look. She looked pissed. "Wow, who peed in your cheerios?"

"And it's just that people keep bothering me and I'm already tired of it." The miko added, frowning, "I guess it was too much to hope that things would get back to something resembling normal once that alien was taken care of..."
Also, her family was making a big deal of things. Fortunately they were taking it fairly well, but she was kind of dreading how her father would react when he eventually found out too...

In deference to Reimu's current irritation towards all things magical, Marisa dropped to the ground. Standing still wasn't hard on crutches. It was just the walking that was a pain. "After a display like we put on, I don't think anyone's getting anything 'normal' again any time soon."

"... I guess I wouldn't mind so much if people would mind their own business and stop trying to ask stupid questions." She admitted, casting a glance around them at their schoolmates.

Marisa leaned closer to Reimu, looking possibly a little sinister. "You really would have just let things get totally out of hand when there was a chance you could have stopped it?"
After a tense moment, she settled back onto her crutches. "I don't think so."
