[She shows up, sitting on her bed in her room this time, just lit up by the light from the laptop on her knees. She's looking slightly less beat up than she had earlier in the day, but she still looks just as tired as everyone undoubtedly feels at the moment.]

[For anyone who'd seen her with him, she's still wearing Senketsu as well.]

Hey. So... that was a thing, huh? Fucking crazy way to haze the new girl.

[She sighs, glancing away for a second and then shrugs.]

So, yeah, I don't really know you guys or anything yet but I just figured I'd check in too. Let you all know that I didn't get eaten or whatever. In case anybody was wondering about that.

[A pause as she considers where to go with that. She wasn't really wanting to talk but after all the shit today, sleep wasn't coming easily. Actually.]

Oh, yeah. It's kind of a long shot but I kind of accidentally stole this guy's phone and his jacket. Well, he lent them to me so I could call home and then kinda wandered off. He was working with the rescue teams. Like I said, pretty much a longshot but if anybody knows a guy who was working with the paramedics who got his shit stolen, let me know if I can drop it off at his place or something.

[Gah text. She leans closer a little bit to read it then laughs a bit and leans back against the wall, laughing just a little bit.]

[Rakka appears on the screen, apparently sitting at a desk in her room and using her laptop to connect. There's some bruises and scraps still visible on her face, but they're healing.]

It's not just you that got hazed into it. I was barely here for a few months and... wow.

[She grimaces, reaching up and rubbing the back of her neck.]

The freaking radio was jammed on that song for some reason. We hated it too.

[She blinks at the next question and reaches over to the table beside her bed, picking up the Scissor Blade which has been returned to its handy-dandy travel size.]

Yeah, first thing I got when I got sucked into this crap.

[She spins it around one finger with a sigh.]

I'm just glad I figured out how to shrink it back down before I got home.

[She smiles a bit when she sees Rakka made it back home okay, it's actually a relief to see that. For a second, Senketsu's eye glances up her way before refocusing on the screen.]

Ff. At least you got a few months. I got a whole week before everything went to shit.

[And then it was all Godzilla attacks and ghosts and dead people popping back to life. Maybe one day she'll be able to sleep again. One day.]

[Groggily.] ...I'm glad you're okay. I think I sort of... passed out for awhile...

[It takes a little while for her to answer but when she does she has the recognizable tone of somebody who got dragged out of bed way before they were ready that morning.

Lily should also be able to hear the TV going in the background and the excited shouting of a younger girl.]

Raye, Raye! They're showing the jetpack guy again!

Yeah, I saw the jetpack guy! Hang on!

[And now at last to the phone.]

Yeah, I'm kinda surprised you even made it home before you did that.

Yeah, I was pretty dead set on getting home so I guess that kept me going.

... Not that I got a lot of sleep when I got here. Saw some shit the other day that kinda fucked with my head a little.

Ah, right, sorry. Just thought I'd give you the heads up in case you didn't check out the news yet.

No one was at home, so... My only loved ones were already there. So... I didn't have a whole lot of reason to rush anywhere else.

[A long pause. Like hell she's going to avoid that, after everything lately. She knows how bad an idea that is.] ...what did you see, if you don't mind my asking?

[She sighs, though.] Oh, I checked the news all right... [Let's play a rousing game of, "Whose girlfriend was on TV?"]

Yeah, well, I got my sister here, so....

[She doesn't need to play, she saw the news. Unfortunately that leaves only one other option to talk about. Might as well.

She at least manages to keep her tone as neutral as possible.]

When I was on my own picking off snakes for awhile I ran into this couple. Anyway one of those snakes grabbed me and they tried hitting and it... hit them back.

They were fuckin' smashed flat. One of their heads was-- [Actually no thanks let's not revisit that just yet] anyway they were fucking dead.

... And then they sorta got back up.

[For a moment, Lily's about to respond with sympathy or try to find something comforting to say at seeing something so horrible, but.

[Seeing something horrible would have been bad enough, but what happened next was somehow even worse. Life and death. Basic things, inarguable facts of reality just discarded.]

Yeah, the... [she clears her throat] pieces sort of put themselves back together and then they were just... alive again.

Yeah, yeah, giant monsters, magic powers, "fuck everything you think you know" but that just doesn't happen, right? People don't... come back.

Worse, it brought with it a pulse of Moonlight seeing someone killed. She knew it was something that had to have happened, but seeing that, on top of witnessing it in person...]

She sucks in a breath.]

Fuck, I really need to go blown something up. Something that isn't real. Wonder if any of the arcades are still standing.
