Im jake harley and i would really like some sort of an explanation if anyone has the time.
If someone could just level with me ill get right on the trolley i swear!
Im just a little off the wire with this whole numbers thing.
I mean i am completely sure there is some sort of rational explanation to the whole shebang.
Conspiracy theories after all dont really hold much water especially in an educated society and honestly if this wasnt happening to ME i probably wouldnt believe it even for a second!
I would honestly think whoever was trying to feed me this line was trying to sell me wooden nickels and my shops completely closed for that.
That is to say im testing all the nickels sent my way.
Biting them firm and testing their mettle!

Blimey i think i might have gotten just a bit gummed up there.
Though honestly i cant imagine this is working.
I mean gosh all i did was type in a series of completely unrelated numbers (and believe me i checked, there were SEVERAL diagnostics i could run but none of the mathematical equations *I* know produced any truly identifiable links between any of these blasted figures) into the computer and for all i know im currently chattering away at dead air.
This wouldnt be the first time thats happened if im completely honest but ive never gone on and on expecting some sort of response!

So....um....
I guess on the outside shot that this isnt just a ruse and i havent gone COMPLETELY bonkers...
Is anyone out there?

First off, take a moment to write out the number that you got on a piece of paper. That might help shake off the whole 'educated society that doesn't go into conspiracy' stuff you have there.

Next thing, read the FAQs. Be careful though; there's a video on there that is part of the reason why we don't tell anyone about this network besides others like us.

WELL i guess that answers most of the questions i had. This whole thing just stinks and while the information youve provided doesnt make it stink any less, it does give the smell a source so theres that.
Youll have to forgive me for continuing with text as opposed to voice i guess paranoia is getting the upper hand on me.
But since i am clearly not the first and will obviously not be the last person who is dragged into all of this bushwa without knowing whats going on i would be willing to bet its pretty common for us 'newbies' to be pretty freaked out.
I guess the question i have for you at this point is:
What am i personally supposed to be doing right now?

Don't tell anyone that doesn't have a number about this network. We're not sure about how the corrupt cops find us but they do once and a while, so please don't tell anyone. It will get them and you in trouble. The second thing is to avoid the cops unless they're on here, and even then, be careful. There's no telling what they might end up doing.

Start cataloging whatever different thoughts, memories, items, and powers you get and try to share some of them. We've found that there are people who have similar experiences and sharing helps with figuring out what you can and cannot do.

I shall take your advice to heart. Mums the word about all this bushwa.

So far i dont have much and honestly am not really sure i will ever gain more. I mean everything i remember i am pretty sure happened to me here in this life.
As far as powers go all i have is a weird knack for using a pair of pistols that until my birthday i had never even laid eyes on.
I dont suppose thats anything even remotely extraordinary.

Is there a way to encourage these memories and what have you to (i suppose) 'recall' them?

Heh. I got a gun as well and then the skills to use it, so it's not that special... although it's better than just getting longer hair.

Sometimes you can try to force the issue. Like, I actually found I had a knack for space awareness and threw myself into blindfold training to make it better. Sometimes you find someone that shares a place and you bounce off of each other. It works differently for different people.

Yes i figured it wasnt something extraordinary and if it werent for these darned numbers i mightve just figured myself some sort of weird firearm prodigy.

But if its so common for people to resound off each other maybe i need to just start keeping an eye and ear out for folks that make me feel all nostalgic.
I'm definitely going to push what i can.
No sense in sitting around and letting things get stale.

I think gun users are rare on the network. There might have been a couple others, but right now most people use swords.

Seems awfully silly to bring a sword to what is very likely a gunfight considering this modern age.
I mean it appears that for all intents and purposes the enemy uses firearms!
Maybe we should see if we can organize some sort of lessons.
It might be better all around if everyone had at least a rudimentary understanding of how to use a pistol.

That's what I'd say too, but you'd be surprised what some of those swords can do.

Any lessons might be a boon, considering that people don't know how to fight in most cases.

Oh i am not sure i could give lessons!
Im not really sure how i even came about being able to fire a gun.
But maybe we should find someone else who has the know-how to educate!
It sounds like it would be a pretty profitable experience.

I dunno about magic. More like stuff that comes outta a video game.

There are clubs and stuff that teach that stuff. When i knew that guns was par of my pulses, I went to one to learn.
