Who Åsa (
vaimo ) and Siiri (
hustru ) / Floweregg
What They got a puppy!!
When last week of Feb
Where Siiri's apartment
Warnings Teeth rotting fluff
Since Siiri's hands were full of puppy, Åsa nudged her out of the way to unlock the door to her apartment and let them in. Just as well she'd added that key to her own set. Not that she wouldn't have; it's safest there. Even though Åsa can be a bit of a ditz, her keys are one thing that she always keeps safe. If she put it in a 'safe place' at home it would never surface again.
Pushing open the door, Åsa shifts to hold it while toeing off her shoes. "Still got her?" She asks, a little worried, as she looks at the squirming ball of fluff. Sooner they can get in safely and shut the door behind them the better. Her own hands are full of shopping bags from the rescue centre, full of everything they'll need to get their new puppy started at home. They'll have to do a trip for more food soon since Åsa's priority was getting Siiri everything that was needed immediately rather than looking to the long term (and they had to get everything home too), but Åsa certainly won't complain for the excuse to drop by again later this week. That's probably why she's already thinking of this as 'their' puppy, even when in reality she's Siiri's. She just hopes that having someone around the house - even if it's someone who can't talk back - will help Siiri feel more settled and less lonely. And if not, well, taking the puppy on walks will at least make sure that Siiri gets out for reasons that aren't university or work!

[Very firmly and decidedly, and her ire at Åsa not believing her - not because she doesn't believe her, but how could she even think anything else? What must people have told her? - gives her voice an edge.]

It's - I mean - thank you! But I'm too... [She waves a hand, awkwardly.] Ah, I mean, well, it doesn't matter! [...Does Siiri really think she's cute? And why does that make Åsa even more embarrassed. She's not sure she wants to say anything else. What if Siiri changes her mind?]
Ah, but Floweregg's cuter!

[Which is the truth. And still delivered with the same intensity.
Because there just is a point of no return. ....and also a point where you got to escape from the situation, and that is reached now as she disentangles herself and jumps to her feet to run and get them something to drink maybe, or use the toilet, or... something.
Yes.
Point is, and here she goes.]
