[It’s about midnight when this comes up on the network, a time when a kid his age should be asleep. But is he sleeping right now? Hell no. Not after the night he’s had . . . still having, really.]

How long has it taken for the rest of you to stop feeling like you’re being watched? And this might sound stupid, but . . . Does anyone think it might be ghosts following us around?

[He’ll just conveniently ignore the fact that the sensation of being watched hasn’t been the only thing happening to him tonight. Why give more details than he has to? They’ll just worry more.]

Well, school won't be happening tomorrow thanks to this, so. [Granny is a tad concerned.]

Not necessarily of them. Other people have heard howling along with this feeling. I haven't.

Neither did I. They *are* the ones that died violently the most recently, I guess. I wasn't anywhere near by when that happened, but I have friends who were, and I was in the area later...

I was there. If it were the mutant dogs, I think I'd be hearing the howling.

It sucks to have to pay attention and do repetitive things somewhere when you haven't slept enough. Caffeine helps but it's not magic, after all.
