PLOT: THE ATTACK ON THE FARMHOUSE
Who: Characters listed under Part 2 of the IC plan.
When: March 9th, Sunday, daylight hours.
Where: The alien’s farmhouse.
What: After several weeks of planning, a group of reincarnates attack the alien’s farmhouse base in the hopes of destroying the alien.
Warnings: Violence.
[ OOC: This is part one of two of Season 1’s finale. The other pertinent plot post.
The following NPCs will be played by mods:
- Skullsy and Moulder.
- The alien.
- The alien's steed.
The rest of the NPCs can be played by players or mods.
- The chimeras: descriptions provided in the Underground team's first thread.
- Sniffer dogs: straight-forward. Besides their altered noses, they attack like regular dogs.
- Corrupt cops: pick one main attribute OR several minor attributes from a domesticated farm animal or an animal that might be found on a farm.
Example:
corrupt cop with one main attribute of a horse: extremely powerful legs that allow the cop to break bones with a single kick, run very quickly, and stand for long periods of time without ache.
corrupt cop with several minor attributes of a horse: teeth that continually grow, horse hearing, and night vision.
Examples of domesticated farm animals: cattle, swine, poultry, rabbits, goats, sheep, horses.
Examples of animals that might be found on a farm: cats, dogs, owls, rats.
Characters who engage the alien in battle will not escape unscathed. If you intend to have your character participate in both the farmhouse attack and Wise Snake’s rampage, please plan accordingly. We will operate on a trust system and may ask for clarification on the logistics of a character’s participation in both if we find it necessary. ]

< Get behind me, I've got this. >

Still lifting up the bat defensively against the dogs as she moves. She does manage to land one blow on another dog, but it seems to still be moving.
About 100 feet away, Isaac growls a little in frustration. How hard was it to drive over one dog? Could it really be giving the wheel that much trouble?!

The blow Miria gets in slows the dog enough that he can strike cleanly and take its head off, like the other. He tries not to look at it as the body hits the ground. That just leaves one more, for now. Alex feels certain the dogs are only the first wave. He doesn't have teeth to grit in this body, but he'd grit them in determination if he did, as he gets in closer again, trying to sidestep jaws and find a good angle to attack from.

She keeps her distance from Alex's strikes, but she still can't resist trying to land a hit when a dog or two gets close. She misses the first one, but manages to graze the other. She immediately gets back behind Alex, since he seems to be a far more powerful threat to the rampaging canines.

< Disgusting, I know. At least you didn't have to hear me change? >
What's also disgusting is that he can feel blood creeping down his leg through his fur from the bite that earlier dog managed to take out of him, and dang it, this one is not going to get a chance to do the same. Alex steps to the side and brings his tail blade down hard, not severing this one's head, but slicing across its back enough that it goes down and stays down.

She looks pretty sick, but she waves away the comment.
"Don't worry, it's fine. And I'm sure it's not that bad..."
Quick swing here at a dog. It's a miss.

< I've been told it sounds like someone threw me in a wood chipper. >
He's starting to think he makes a lousy tank.
no subject
"How do they know what you sound like being thrown in a wood chipper?"
She swings two more times and the dogs avoid both. Yeeesh.
no subject
It is often hard for Alex to tell.
While the dog Miria hit is still wobbly from the blow, he sidesteps closer and hits it hard with the flat of his tail blade, not entirely on purpose. But it proves a very effective, and much less gross, way to put the thing out.
no subject
"Oh, that would make sense.
Plus, maybe he was referring to just people ring put into wood chipper's generally. Then he could know the sound from watching Fargo."
She's getting kinda side-tracked, but she tries to swing at a dog here and there.
/has no skunk icon
He's sure he would definitely have had something both witty and battlefield-appropriate to say, but he totally forgets it when the all-too-familiar dizzy feeling of a pulse overtakes him.
The next thing he knows, the ground is a lot closer, the dogs seem a lot scarier, and Alex has an overwhelming urge to turn his back to them and do... something. He's not sure what, because he can't see what he is.
He's a small, fluffy, and rather cute skunk, getting into position to give the dogs a faceful of stink.
< What. Happened? >
Everyone should have a skunk icon. So it is decreed
"Uhhhhhhhhhhhh...."
She regains her senses momentarily and quickly slams the bat into a random dog.
"Do-don't freak out, okay?"
and now I have one!
< Okay...? What am I? >
MAGNIFICENT
But now she has to explain this. Not good.
Her eyes shift around, trying to come up with a good way to break this to him. TURNING INTO SKUNKS SEEMS LIKE A HARD THING TO SWALLOW.
"...You... You ever watch Looney Tunes?"
This is clearly the best way to go about this.
They're so cute!
One of the dogs growls. Threat! Alex's reaction is instinctive, which is probably good, because he doesn't think he knows how to spray on purpose.
< Oh. >
On the plus side, the smell tells him very clearly what he turned into.
< I... didn't know I could do that! >
They are the best
"Yeah, it's uh.... Very Pepe Le Pu like.
Which is what you are now. Pepe Le Pu."
Yep, she definitely went about that the right way. No doubt about it.
no subject
[The dogs beat a hasty retreat as soon as Alex sprayed them. He makes a flourish with his tail, rather proud, though he's sure more enemies will come soon.]
< Ha ha, should I start using a French accent, then? >
no subject
"Yeah, you did a really good job.
Well, as long as you don't harass any cats, a French accent should be fine."
no subject
[He gives a shaky laugh, then realizes something.]
< Hey, my leg's not hurt anymore! >
[He looks back to where Isaac's stuck.]
< Should we go back and help? >
no subject
Well, I'm not gonna judge your life choices as long as its what both of you want...
Oh! That's fantastic! It doesn't hurt or anything?
[She glances over to Isaac. He looks miserable.]
Sure. You need a ride after this blows over?
no subject
< Feels just like new. Hang on--I'm not going to be much use like this. >
[He's gotten out of a body he's changed to dozens of times by now, but when he does it this time, he's surprised, and a little disturbed, to find that he goes back to his other-self's body, not his own.]
< Weird... I thought I'd turn human again. I can probably help more like this anyway, huh? >
no subject
Well, I think you're helpful generally! Current body regardless!
no subject
[Unfortunately, Alex is about to find out that Andalite arms are pretty weak compared to human ones.]
< Hi, Isaac! >
[He waves when they get closer.]
< What do you guys need me to do? >
