northless: (never an honest word)

[It takes him a moment to start typing, as the song still sends a chill down his spine, though he doesn't know why. Still, with all these people talking about memories, he figures he should share something. Maybe he'll even get some answers, though he very much doubts it.]

So I remembered something from the statues. Didn't touch them or anything, just hung around them for a while. [No need to mention the details, right?] I didn't get anything useful--just a song--but I am curious if anyone other than me knows it. It goes something like this:

And who are you, the proud lord said
That I must bow so low?
Only a cat of a different coat,
that's all the truth I know.
In a coat of gold or a coat of red,
a lion still has claws.
And mine are long and sharp, my lord,
as long and sharp as yours.

And so he spoke, and so he spoke,
that lord of Castamere,
but now the rains weep o'er his hall,
with no one there to hear.
Yes, now the rains weep o'er his hall,
and not a soul to hear.

It's a long shot, I know, but I figure it's worth asking about.

[He pauses for a second, hesitating on whether to add more, then:] Also, all I got from that guy on the forum was that he was called No One, and that he's certainly not human. Kind of hoping this doesn't end up like Independence Day or Armageddon or all those alien invasion movies--I'm pretty sure I'd die screaming.

Oh, and I think I got a crown? It's pointy and made out of metals--nothing gold or silver, though. Or even remotely valuable. It just showed up on my coffee table when I got home, and all I can think to use it for is as a glorified paperweight. It's certainly weird, though.
[All those memories, the swordfighting skills, and now this crown--he's starting to get an idea of what's going on, here.] Anyone else get anything like a crown?

Yeah, I don't like this guy. I'm wondering if he's an AI or something, he seems to have some huge trouble parsing basic human concepts.

I got a whole lot of not bothering to answer some questions that tbh if he HAD bothered would have made me more sympathetic to his cause

Not answering those questions to me = something to hide = like hell am I going to trust any bullshit you say about the "greater good." WHOSE greater good? "Classified." Yeah, whatever, bro.

The garden analogy is bullshit. Even if his people--whatever they are--had staked a claim here, it'd be like stomping on over to London and then claiming that it all has to be torn down because you were an Anglo-Saxon and this city's just straight up an affront to you, and if the people there don't just sit tight while you start demolishing Buckingham Palace you're going to murder them. It's like, the fuck? We are not dandelions, jerk.

Exactly.

Personally I think this moron just plain doesn't understand humans at all. He's from like, Jupiter or something. Idiot.
