[It takes him a moment to start typing, as the song still sends a chill down his spine, though he doesn't know why. Still, with all these people talking about memories, he figures he should share something. Maybe he'll even get some answers, though he very much doubts it.]
So I remembered something from the statues. Didn't touch them or anything, just hung around them for a while. [No need to mention the details, right?] I didn't get anything useful--just a song--but I am curious if anyone other than me knows it. It goes something like this:
And who are you, the proud lord said
That I must bow so low?
Only a cat of a different coat,
that's all the truth I know.
In a coat of gold or a coat of red,
a lion still has claws.
And mine are long and sharp, my lord,
as long and sharp as yours.
And so he spoke, and so he spoke,
that lord of Castamere,
but now the rains weep o'er his hall,
with no one there to hear.
Yes, now the rains weep o'er his hall,
and not a soul to hear.
It's a long shot, I know, but I figure it's worth asking about.
[He pauses for a second, hesitating on whether to add more, then:] Also, all I got from that guy on the forum was that he was called No One, and that he's certainly not human. Kind of hoping this doesn't end up like Independence Day or Armageddon or all those alien invasion movies--I'm pretty sure I'd die screaming.
Oh, and I think I got a crown? It's pointy and made out of metals--nothing gold or silver, though. Or even remotely valuable. It just showed up on my coffee table when I got home, and all I can think to use it for is as a glorified paperweight. It's certainly weird, though. [All those memories, the swordfighting skills, and now this crown--he's starting to get an idea of what's going on, here.] Anyone else get anything like a crown?

As for the lyrics, they look like they come from centuries ago. Have you tried looking them up? Asking around the library or the museum?
no subject
I did. It doesn't look like it exists anywhere but in my head.

[Good call since it's a bomb...]
You didn't try the crown on, did you?
Hm, perhaps the next vision will make things clearer with regard to the song.
no subject
No. It doesn't go with any of my clothes, for one, and I don't think my boss would take it well if I showed up to work with a crown on my head.

From what I can tell, mine is older than yours by centuries. Possibly. It's talking about a lord, but I've never heard of Castamere. Neither has Google, apparently.

Yours sounds old, but kinda... SCA-y? Y'know, Society for Creative Anachronism? Like, um, it doesn't have to have to do with a thing that's possible, if that makes sense. There's also something I remembered, and it had spaceships in it. Like, intergalactic ones, not shuttles that take NASA guys to the space station like in real life. So maybe Castamere is like that. Has to do with something we don't have.

I keep getting songs, but they're all in some language I've never heard before and I haven't got a clue what any of them mean.

More interested in the forum information, though, so Casval hones in on that instead. ]
"No One"? Really?

He said that's what people call him, wouldn't say anything more.
no subject
Did he provide any proof of this, and his so-called inhumanity, or have we only his word to go on?
