[It's around 10:30pm. Sam looks a bit roughed up. Most noticeably, there's a bigass bruise right in the middle of his forehead.]

Important alert. There's some kinda werewolf thing running around town tonight. I ran into it and I think I gave it a black eye, but it took most of my power to do so, so I'm running on fumes right now. Not much help to anyone.

But, you know, be alert. Lock your doors. Get some silver bullets. Fucker wrecked my bike.

Yes. I'm very sorry. Normally I only transform like that on the full moon, and I lock myself up so this sort of thing doesn't happen, but something has changed.

Yes well...Beyond your control, no hard feelings, etc. I hope your headache isn't as bad as mine. You have to admit that was a hell of a headbutt.

How clearly do you remember all that?

My skull may not be harder than anyone else's, but it does mend a bit better. I'm all right. Are you?

Everything is very fuzzy, I'm afraid. I remember being hit with something, but not what it was. The wolf doesn't know what a "bicycle" is.

I'm out of power, so I'm left to merely human levels of recovery until there's a riot or something.

Better than dead or grievously injured. I will be satisfied with "out of power", or as satisfied as I can be under the circumstances.

Yes, well. You still owe me for the bike. I have no good way to get to work now until I get it fixed.

I will see what I can do. It may take a while, though. I'm also going to have to replace half my furniture again.
