30th Howl [Action | Open | Backdated to 2/12]
Who: Randall Lyall, the wolf version, and OPEN
When: All night, starting two hours after moonrise
Where: Around the city
What: Full moon came a little early this month...
The full moon was on Friday. Lyall was prepared for it, had people coming in, had called Reilanin to see if she was coming, all that. What he was not prepared for was, two nights early, the moon rose and he felt it, felt the change starting without any warning beyond that. The ability to change outside of the full moon, without the control learned from centuries of fighting the change, came with it the drawback of having to fight it for all the nights around the full moon, as well.
He managed to make it off the couch and right into the doorway of his secured bedroom before he lost what little control he had left, and the wolf took over: the angry, hurting, moon-mad wolf who only wanted to attack, kill, and preferably eat whatever, or perhaps whoever, he could get his teeth into.
It took him a little while to get out of the house, once he'd finished healing, but one broken window later, there was a sandy-colored wolf prowling the streets, loose and hunting and completely unafraid of people.

Perhaps interestingly, he wasn't actively trying to attack Hajime except incidentally in an attempt to get free. Giant bugs, after all, did not smell like food to a werewolf.

But this? This was a whole different level of dealing with the public. He was a giant bug carrying a wriggling wolf around a crowded city area. Great. He was just going to walk down the street while holding this snarling wolf while being a gigantic roach-man like it was the most normal thing in the world. Even if he knew they were getting photographed and he was wondering if he should start snarling at people to get them to run the hell away.
But a panic would attract the police. That wasn't good. So he'd play it casual. "What?" he snapped at someone who was about to take a picture. "The dog got out. It's not that hard to understand, human."
He was very glad Lyall wouldn't remember any of this later.

His teeth came down on whatever of Hajime he could reach, all reservations of not-prey thrown to the wind when he was obviously going to keep him from said prey.

This became very difficult when Lyall chomped down pretty solidly on his left hand. Hajime roared a curse in his monster language, and the suddenly dropped the wolf out of "hey, my hand just got chomped" reflex.
