Not on the Network-[Let's Negotiate]

[The webforum is in all ways ordinary, aside from its users. Using a free, public system in its default state with no embellishments, it is titled only 'Let's Negotiate' and contains only one post with those two words repeated.

Anonymous posting is disabled, but there's the sign up button.

What's the worst that could happen?

We wish for your organization to cease interference with our operations. In exchange, your organization will not be forcefully exterminated.

And what 'organization' do we supposedly have? As far as I can see, we're simply a grouping of individuals brought together by circumstance without any leadership. That hardly makes for an organization.

Negotiations with individuals are acceptable and preferable to conflict.

I prefer negotiation to conflict as well. However in order for that to occur, you really need to bring more to the offer than offering not to 'forcefully exterminate' us.

If this is serious then I expect you to supply to name of your own group, your own goal and what we could possibly do to reach for mutually beneficial end.

If we cease interference as you put it now, we gain nothing but our lives and you continue in your own actions. How are we to know our lives will be spared in the coming invasion?

I have recently learned your group believes our operations are an invasion. I will clarify.

Should a person leave their garden for a period and discover it overrun during that time, it would not be an invasion to prepare it for their return. You may consider me the gardener. I am fond of the rose called humanity and each flower has its own value even within a bush of unparalleled size. But a good gardener has no issue with clipping those that threaten its existence. An unruly and untidy plant will be ordered torn out at the root. It is not war to do so. The rose's defences are nothing but an irritation. There is no possibility of a victory for the plant, only the chance that it will be allowed to live.

This analogy is extremely accurate.

I do not feel compassion for the human race. I have desires in the manner a human would identify them. Of the numerous potential outcomes of our operations, I simply have a preference that humans will continue to exist in as many permutations as allowable.

But to exist under your thumb and 'cultivation', like the best and brightest blooms on a bush. As long as they please you.
