Hello everyone. I've been having the same dream every night for the past week now, of the ground splitting open. Normally, I wouldn't bother to talk about something so mundane, but it seems I was psychic in my past life. [added “casually” like it’s an afterthought and not something she’s super pleased with] This leads me to believe that this is more than a normal dream.

In short, I think there’s going to be another earthquake. I’m not sure what to do with this information, or what we can do at all; I unfortunately don’t know any specifics, like where or when it will happen, but I can feel that this isn't just a bad dream. If anyone has any suggestions besides warning people away from high buildings, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I don't know, I'd appreciate a dream about a good score on the SATs, or winning the lottery, or something like that.

I definitely wouldn't mind the same. Sans the SATs. It's a bit late for me to be dreaming about them.

You understand the sentiment, though. There's no reason dreams of the future should have to be limited to such a small range of subject matters, right?

No, there isn't. I suppose the only "reason" would be the thematic one that would work for a work of fiction: because visions of the future would only need to be plot relevant.

Of course, that's a little useless here.

I've read a book about prophetic dreams of future love interests, once, though I'm glad those aren't the ones I'm having.

Not that it's good that there's likely going to be another earthquake, of course. That was rather flippant of me to say.

It's okay. I got what you meant. Sometimes we need to joke around a little on here, I think, given everything.
