You guys know how I said it sucks to suddenly get a lifetime's worth of memories all at once in your head? Ends up, it sucks even when it happens again.

[Looks like Thomas is back and he's walking through his apartment with his smartphone's camera on him.]

Oh wait, no. The worst thing is coming back into the city and having your car suddenly turn into an anime Prius when you reach your apartment building at like six am. Anyway, I'm back. Don't know why I forgot, but it was nice going home to spend the holidays with my mom and brother.

Sorry I didn't get anyone anything, I couldn't remember. Everyone feel free to send some gifts my way though. Or who knows, maybe you did? I'm busy sorting through nearly a month's worth of mail.

[He points the camera to a pile of mail on his coffee table before back on himself as he flops down onto his couch.]

So! I miss anything cool? With the way we pick up new people I bet I missed a lot while I was away.

Hey I'm kidding. Still, I'm glad to hear that. I mean, between explosions and monster attacks while I'm here, I was afraid to hear what'd happened while I was gone.

I know, some days it's a wonder the city's still standing.

Well, the benefits of an east coast city. Or any coastal city really. Natural disasters tend to make a city hardy.

It's not like we were prepared for the earthquake.

[Hajime sighs.]

And with the way things are going, this place is going to need to stay hardy.

[Thomas' smile fade as he nods.]

Lets hope it is. Things are only getting worse. Hey, apparently more sentai heroes have shown up. We got any more of you belt people?

[Hajime just holds back on commenting on that whole sentai thing, because, hey, apparently it had meant something to Al.]

I haven't seen anyone else using a weird belt to turn into a horrible giant bug, if that's what you mean.

Aw that sucks. A team of like 5 or 6 of you guys would be all cool. There could be a red bug, a white bug, a blue bug, a pink bug ... etc.

Well at least I think it'd be cool.

[Hajime can only shake his head.]

And what, we'd have a giant bug robot?

There was one you know. The second ninja sentai had one. It was made out of bug based tanks.

So beautiful.

Yeah, I really don't think I'm going to get some crazy giant robot. I didn't play well enough with others.

Well, you are green. Maybe you're the sixth one that joins the team later? Your personality is a classic sixth ranger trope.

[No, Hajime, don't accidentally encourage him to go on about this.]

Ever since the 25th Sentai had their sixth be a lone wolf type of guy and a bit antagonistic toward the team it became the style for a while. It was really out of place in Go-Onger where it was a silly series, but the two sixths were very brooding and unwilling to work with the others.

To the point of attacking the other guys that wanted to work with them?

[Because it's not like he remembers doing just that or anything, oh, no.]

... Yeah actually. Off the top of my head I can say that all dinosaur sentai 6ths and the 25th sentai's 6th were all antagonistic at first.

Also the dinosaur ones also died which really isn't looking good for this year's dino team.

[Hajime's rubbing at a temple and looking like he might get a headache.]

Yeah, I'm not remembering anything about dinosaurs. And just because I don't like working on teams doesn't mean I'm magically going to find one to antagonize.

You never know Hajime. Coincidence is a powerful thing. Who knows, maybe more people like you will show up. Kaijin Sentai Monsterger!

[Thomas sort of writes it in the air, a sentai styled logo appearing.]

[He just stares. This is kind of freaky.]

Don't logo it like that.

[Thomas huffs and the logo seems to fall out of the air and disappear once out of both their sights.]

Fine fine. I'm just saying.

You can say it, but I don't need the visual representation...

I have no idea what you mean.

[A neon sign reading "innocent" appears above his head for a moment. Thomas even starts whistling.]

[Hajime's face remains impassive as he looks up at that sign.]

You're having way too much fun with that power.
