action;
Who: Lily, Cherry
What: A completely, totally, coincidental run-in that one party didn't try to incite at all. Nope.
When: Friday, December 27th, mid-day
Where: A flower shop that totally isn't the third one Lily's been to that day, nope.
Warnings: Terrible awkwardness.
[Okay, so this WAS the third flower shop that Lily had been to since setting out on her shopping trip. She'd already accumulated a number of the needed supplies, but a little more towards the decorations couldn't hurt.
Right?
Flowers were nice, even if they hadn't been on Jasmine's list.
Right?
It's not like she was hoping she would randomly stumble upon some perfect stranger who might be an integral key towards discovering her past life as a magical warrior girl.
Ri-
...
It really did sound silly when she thought it out like that.
Something she very well realized only as she set foot inside this particular shop.
She should probably stop, she realized with a resigned sigh. It was going to make her look bad.
But then, she was there now. A brief look around wasn't going to hurt things.]

And... if it helps, I'm not really good with people either. And it's gotten a little worse with all these visions, so... I know how it feels.
[She adjusts her glasses a little nervously and stares at the floor.]
...It's all a little scary, isn't it? I'm not really sure how to deal with it myself.

Well. That wasn't the case here, was it? It was just ... a very unique situation that they were in. Even among those that were on the Network, no one else shared the same memories they did. So, she really wasn't sure how to approach it.
That made sense.]
It's... it's very scary, really.
[She frowns briefly.]
I don't know what's coming, and I don't know who to even trust completely, with the exception of a few people... but...
[She then attempts a small smile.]
I like to hope that... with all of this, and all of us, it's maybe a little less scary when you've got some people to rely on.

[She smiles slightly, looking up again.]
I know that having someone you care about involved too is worrying, but I think you're lucky, to have someone so close to you that you can confide in. That means you're less alone right away.
[She doesn't say it, but she wishes she had someone like that herself.]

While this girl, on the other hand... clearly didn't seem to know anyone involved in this.]
Right, safety in numbers, and...
[She taps her fingers together a bit.]
I know you've just met or started to talk to all of us, but... If there's ever anything you need to confide in, I- I mean, we'd be... happy to, as well...
Winter and Annie are really nice, and... just, well...
[She puts hand through her hair a bit nervously. It wasn't as bad as before, but she is far more nervous about all this than she thought she would have been.]
We're all in this together, like it or not... right?
no subject
...yeah, I guess we are. I'll try to keep that in mind.
Um... thanks.

[She looks away a bit, uncertain.]
You and I are connected, somehow, differently. Or at least these other lives were. That feels like it's important, but...
[She sighs, and looks back.]
You seem like a nice person, and I realize this is the worst way possible to start things off, but... If I'm going to know someone, I don't want it to just be out of obligation. Those other selves matter, but who we are now matters more, doesn't it? I'd like to think I'm not, say, friends with Winter now just because of all this, but it's...
Heh, I guess more like a common ground to start with.
