[ voice, 12/18, after dark ]
[ the voices are somewhat muffled because the phone is in his pocket. neither of them sound in good shape. ]
I'll-- I'll help you up. Let's go.
[ those who know nick will recognize the second voice as his: ] This is turning out to be a pretty crappy rescue, man, I'm sorry. [ this is followed by the sound of clothes rustling as the two dudes get up. ] It's this way.
[ the sound of snow crunching beneath shoes might be faintly heard. ]
Two trauma cases. First, hemorrhage, suspected class two. Second, penetrating trauma, chest, broken ribs. Not... No major blood loss yet. [ a pause. ] Where are we?
Just outside of town. [ this is followed by a more precise location. ]
Requesting aid. And if anyone can contact... Ravindra, that'd be great. Thanks.
[ a short stretch of silence. ]
Re- Recline your chair or lie in the backseat.
I can manage, your injuries sounded a lot worse. There's a first aid kit in the back. [ the muffled sound of a car door opening. ] I only have basic training, but if you tell me what to do I can help.
[ rustling as alex sits down, butt-ending the connection. ]

[Even then he cannot be absolutely sure that's what it is as he's not Alex, but it seems the sensible conclusion, and thus he says it fluently enough. Very slightest internal squirming - unsure where he stands with more than the information itself, not to mention now thinking of it that all the name's he's given are those of fellow high school age students and one younger - less-than-ideal candidates on this little information implying that much to be prepared for...?]

[ likewise, there's no room to turn people away on age alone. alex isn't fond of it, but if someone has something useful to offer, then it would probably be unwise to turn them down. ]

He knows the purpose then, he can try to rack his brain for more names - but first, this trips out, not-quite-whispering hoarse.] -- Is there uhm. ... - Anyone else you're. Already thinking - ... Of telling... - ?
[He assumes John is a yes or invited in this - wouldn't be surprised of Nick was as well, and that Ravindra would go without saying...]
no subject
Vin, Randy-- Lyall [ corrected, because he's assuming anthony is more familiar with his last name given their relationship ], Nick, Solus and Strider...
[ vanessa? yeah. ]
Vanessa. [ banagher? ... not sure. ideally, he wants people who can defend themselves. that rules out julien. bakura, he hesitates-- impulsive. ]

[With that as a quick feel-in for room for an uninterrupting word.] - Hajime -- ?
no subject
Yes, Hajime, of course. [ a super strong bugman was invaluable. ] Do you have his number?
no subject
... -- Do you want me to -- uhm -- write it down, or -- [Dictate it, perhaps, if give it at all specifically at this very moment - avoid assuming!]
no subject
Okay, ready.

And then goes back to quiet to ensure it's been received and await any prompting for anything further.]

Alright, then. I'm gonna try to catch some z's. If you think of anyone or anything else, let me know, yeah?

[And - Alex just said he was going to get some sleep, probably should let it be, expect to hear more when and if he needs to hear more for now, but first - muttering - ] -- Thank you for um -- telling... -- telling - me - ...
no subject
And back to you. Good night, Anthony.

[Subdued and conclusively mumbled.]
