[A series of numbers is written on the top of the paper in loopy old-lady handwriting. It's followed by a sketch of an old-fashioned ruffled parasol and a few jotted down phases, some of which are written sideways.]

“I shield in the name of fashion. I accessorize for one and all. Pursuit of truth is my passion. This I vow by the great parasol.”

“May the blood of the souless keep your own soul safe.”

What is the Parasol Protectorate???

And it depends on the costume. Some of them have hats, but mostly it's like... tiara's or little ruffly things.

Guess that would make sense as a magical girl name. Likely you had one for your hat, then, if that was your name.

Actually, I think Ruffled Parasol had offered to give me a special puff bonnet to match her parasol. I wonder if I was supposed to use it to fight vampires and werewolves too?

Could be. Just be careful here, the vampires and werewolves are on our side and are pretty good guys, not the guys you should be fighting.

Acids. One of those pulse thingies just told me that Ruffled Parasol's parasol emitted acids when you pressed the right thing.
