Violence, even well intentioned
Who: Kavi Verma (
verbalization) & Magdalene de Leon (
bibliofilo).
What: After several encounters with the Blood Key and the return of a certain echo, Maggie is feeling a little uncertain.
Where: Beginning at the LSR Clinic
When: After the earthquake, Dec 11
[Maggie wasn't sure how long she had been sitting in the clinic. It had only seemed like a couple minutes but judging from how late it looked, it must have been much longer than that. With all that had happened out in the streets with Alexa and here in this very building.
Her own hands were stiff and bloodied but they had been tended to and wrapped up. She was shaken and in a haze and wanting to be home. With clumsy fingers she pulled out her phone, attempting to first text but it was much too painful and difficult to manage that. Instead she just punched in the numbers for Kavi's phone and waited, hunched in her seat.]

They'll heal. Even if it worked punching machines was probably not the best way to go about it. [She was lucky nothing was broken]

[ usually he would not make himself at home... but with a little frown, this time is going to be different. why yes, he is going to head into Maggie's bathroom. Kavi is going to hunt down the first aid kit.
though no, what he doesn't know is how bad it is. but the least he can do is clean off those knuckles and tape them up. ]
I'll get ice for the swelling in a minute.

She makes a small noise of assent at mention of ice. She got some basic treatment at the clinic but considering that there were others much worse off...]

Maggie. Your hands please.

It's ok. I was tended to back at the clinic.

Really, Kavi, it's ok. You are doing more than enough as is.
no subject
I would still prefer not to see them infected.

[taking a seat by the girl, Kavi sighs.
just... going to be super gentle and careful here. like being sure not to remove any skin. just stop dabbing to clean and wrapping things up with not too much pressure, but just enough. sure... Maggie can't move her fingers much, but at least nothing will get in. ]

You done this before?
no subject
I think I might have... Or the former me might have.
no subject
Have you found out more about...that?
no subject
[ a shrug. to be fair... Kavi hasn't tried to think too much on it. he's not sure he is all right with what it could mean. especially right now with the information that just started swimming in his head.
he even has to pause and take a breath. even lean back on the couch a bit. ]

Are you alright?
no subject
Just something about this feels familiar, I guess.
no subject
Who knows. Maybe you were a doctor of some sort. Or maybe Jesus--though quite frankly I think two is enough. [She still couldn't get over that]

The moment I start crying blood red tears is the moment I might actually consider that being a thing.
no subject
Well if it is a thing I say get your powers of turning water into wine. That'd be nice.
no subject
but that can wait for a little longer, can't it? ]
Wine sounds great right about now.

But no, really, I prefer to get it myself. Do you have a preference for red or white? Sparkling, fortified?
