It looks as if Karl-slash-Richard Locke is no longer one of us, as it were. He seems to have forgotten about everything, and didn't have any idea what I was talking about when I mentioned tomorrow night's problems. So if you regularly talk to him about network type things, I'd suggest not, for the foreseeable future... it could wind up finding the wrong ears.

[He sounds somewhere between annoyed, resigned, and actually a little nervous.]

It causes me a particular problem, as I was hoping he would help keep watch over me and my other werewolf friend tomorrow night, for the full moon. We really do need a second guard, given there's two of us now, and I really don't want my living room torn apart again. It's getting expensive.

I cannot take that risk. If I broke down the door, or Rei opened her own door-- she does have serviceable hands, after all-- then only Hajime would be between you and a bite. I cannot take that risk. Your safety is too important to me.
