Um--!!
[This will be the first time in recent memory for most people on the network that Phillip's looked visibly distressed. He's outside, in Luke's backyard for anyone who would know that, and there's the sound of a both a dog whining and a single sustained and never breaking flute-like pitch in the background.]
So, I went to Luke's house and we were playing with Gloria outside and I asked about this flute he got and he played something on it and he'd been playing the same note for like five minutes without breathing or moving and I pushed him a little and nothing happen-- [DEEP BREATH ok. Trying to calm down.]
...I don't know what to do. I mean, he's not hurt or anything I don't think but. [yeah he's kind of freaking out here.]
[ooc: This is going to wear off at midnight, and we'll throw up a log for whoever is there at that point!]

She shrugs, and then explains:] It looks like time's different for her. [She doesn't mean to misgender the boy, but coming from a language that doesn't have genders for the most part, she still sometimes slips up.]

Which means that there will be a substantial pause before she speaks again, answering the actual question.]
Slower. Almost stand-still. [She shrugs, a bit uncomfortably. It sounds like such a silly concept. She might be completely wrong. But the whole situation is so very out there... ] That'd explain why he cannot be moved and is barely breathing. [Or not at all, but if there is air coming out of the ocarina...]
Re: action

though that last part... Maybe he just breathes too slowly for her to notice, there is air flowing through the instrument after all. She digs the scented oil used to wake up people out of the medical bag that she nicked from the office before leaving and holds her breath before opening it and holding it under Luke's nose, after a moment positioning it so it will stay there and she won't have to hold it. If his breathing really just has slowed down to a crawl, it will have to stay there for a while to have the chance to show an effect.]
Re: action

[Is that correct English. She hopes that it is, and if not that it will get the meaning across anyway.]
That used to be common for waking people up.
Re: action
Sorry for the wait, you don't have to reply if you'd rather drop the thread.
She'll stare at the bottle for a moment, trying to decide what to do next. Probably camp out here, but...]
Will you stay?

Yeah. 'm not just gonna leave him here.

[Blankets, more chocolate and some cocoa, work for herself, things like that. She starts to gather her things.]
