First feather [Video] - Book
[The network comes to life and focuses on a young woman. She appears to be dressed in a pair of simple pajama clothes and is sitting near a window where the night sky and stars are visible. Snow is lightly falling, and frost clings to the window. If she's cold, the girl doesn't seem to show it.
The screen is somewhere below her, and she is looking down at it nonchalantly for the moment. But soon, the moment passes, and her eyes slowly widen until they're as open as they can go. Then, the screen suddenly, and violently changes, as the girl pushes away from it and scrambles away.
For a brief moment, the screen moves to fast to make out and then falls on the window, the moon hanging full in the sky. It's only for a moment though, as it is picked up once again and turned until it shows the girl's face. She looks shocked to put it lightly.]
I... I can't believe this. ...What the hell is...
...Maybe they were right....[Her face drops briefly and she frowns. Then she perks up again, brushing some short, brown hair from her face.] No, that's stupid. This must be something else at work here.
[Hesitantly, she poked at the screen. Her book was showing her this.]
Hello? Who's doing this? This isn't funny.

[She freezes, realizing just what was happening.]
Wait! What the hell?!
text;
[She will lay off the whole "and we are all reincarnates and also some of us turn into monsters and there are homicidal kids on here". At least for now.]

[Rakka frowned and pinched her nose, groaning loudly.]
...the number I wrote in my book.

[Rakka looks down at her book. She frowns in confusion.]
And it seems like they might be right.

At least not because of this.

This is not actually a joke, nor is it hazy! ['hazing', Kara, the word is hazing] As strange as it seems, this is all truth!

[OH GOD THERES A PERSON IN HER BOOK WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON
Sorry Star, Rakka's still pretty doubtful.]
Y-you're in my book! How did you do that?
video;
[she presses a little closer to the camera as if that will let her see how she's in the book, then remember herself and pulls back]
I believe that the answer they gave me when I asked a similar question was...magic?

Congratulations, and condolences, miss. Through no fault of your own, you've ended up in the Numbers Club.

Especially with the whole voices coming out of my book thing.

How ya doing?
[Most efficient at answering questions.]

[She really doesn't know anymore. There's mostly just lots of internal screaming going on right now.]
...H-how are you doing?

Although, the holiday season is a bit stressful this time of year. But don't let us ruin your day! Welcome to the network!

Have you read anything about "Target One" yet?
