Where: Bertholdt's (and Ryan's) Apartment
When: Sunday, December 8 (evening, but not too late... because kids, y'know?)
Warnings: Spoilers for Attack on Titan all over.

[ At last, the big day has come. The Echo party. Sasha was bringing snacks, and Ryan and Bertholdt even decked the place out in Christmas decorations-- they have a real tree and everything. Their apartment looks, in a word, festive, which is adorable given that they're wearing matching christmas sweaters and fidgeting around a bit. ]

[ Now just pretend Ryan and Bertl don't look kinda titan-y and you're all set. And forget about the part where they're having a bunch of kids over to discuss their ridiculously depressing past lives... Well. You feel me. ]

[ So yeah!!! THIS IS IT!! Just for reference, I'm putting a "Start" (ie: for people getting to the party if you wanna awkwardly greet people or so you can handwave that too) and then just saying like "later" or whatever for Ryan's big heck up, you guys are free to start threads whenever/wherever just say when in the subject if you wanna. (so like, 3DMG showing offs and PS3 fun times, etc. go crazy!!) ]

I... what? Eren, I don't-- I mean, Alan, I really don't remember...!

[ With that voice and the look in his eye, it's hard to say he's Alan at all, maybe that's why Ryan said the wrong name. Ryan is sitting down, but he stands, slowly. He thinks he can help Eren calm down, haha. ]

Hey, Alan... slow down, okay? I don't know what the other me did, but whatever it was, let's talk about it! Calm down.

[It's funny - normally being called the wrong name would catch his attention more than anything else, but right now it doesn't seem like that big of a deal.]

Sure. Sure, let's talk about it. Let's have a nice and civil fucking chat about how you're a traitorous piece of shit!

[As he's yelling, his leg shoots out with a kick aimed to sweep Ryan's feet from under him. Even blinded by rage, his fighting instinct tells him to get whatever advantage he can over a target much bigger than him. And that's exactly what Ryan is now: a target.]

[ Ryan almost loses his balance like-- okay wow that was unexpected but he does manage to land on his ass and not get flipped unlike with certain other people. Alan's never been violent like this with him before. Has Eren? Maybe...? ]

Alan! What the hell?

[Jamie's been watching from his set.. this is not what he expected alright?! Something about Alan's behavior has been making him so nervous but also excited.. he doesn't feel so scared after a while, as if this is just something Alan is supposed to do or how he acts.]

ALAN! [Standing in front of Ryan with his hands out, defending Ryan feelings memorable too.. Okay, that's strange, he spoke up.. now he's extremely nervous this was so betterly executed in his mind.] C-calm down.. holy crap, what's screaming you're frickin' head off going to do? Those are Eren's memories.. not yours! Or whatever...

[ Of all things, he's fixated on the colossal bit of Ryan's confession. Nothing else is really resonating with him, but that word...

He's a little distracted by the echo that's just been sprung on him, but the yelling and physical violence is enough to jerk him back to reality. ]

Alan -

[ This doesn't sound like the kind of thing that can be immediately solved with words, so Walter quickly runs over to the brawlers and the small child trying to intervene. He grabs Alan and tries to drag him away from Ryan and Jamie before things get uglier. ]

[Jamie's words do actually get through to Alan, at least enough to make him hesitate. The anger's still there though, so when Walter grabs him he struggles and tries to break free.]

Shut up, you don't get it! People died because of them!

[He doesn't really have any idea how many people - if he did, he'd be at Ryan's throat already.]

S.. SO?!

That's his past guy self, Ryan didn't actually kill anyone, are you actually Eren Yeager?! [He thinks Eren is right, he knows Alan's prerenunciation's last name was Yeager. This Jean guy sounds pretty cool, sure, but Jamie knows deep in his soul that he's the perfected version. Alan seems to think he's not Eren... so there is no need to act like him. The whole situation wouldn't make sense to anyone outside the source but it all makes sense in Jamie's mind.]

Alan and Eren are still two different people, I thought you told me you didn't want to be anything like Eren-- that guy was a monster. Don't you remember that? You can't hold Ryan responsible for what his echos do to you. [Yeah............. Jamie is totally the main character. He's really getting this vibe of leadership right now. The feeling isn't something the teen has ever felt before but under all that power and authority it almost feels hollow..]

I...

[Now that strikes a chord. He hesitates, looking from Ryan to Jamie and then back again.]

I- I don't wanna be like that. You're right.

[Slowly, slowly, the rage ebbs away, leaving him feeling hollow and cold and more than a little horrified with himself.]

[ The danger has clearly passed, so Walter lets Alan go and steps back, wringing his hands a little. He's still a bit worried, but that's kind of his natural state of being. ]

So... everyone's okay now, right? Ryan? ...Alan?

[ Ryan is... more surprised than hurt, really. He stands back up, brushing himself off with a bit of a forced smile. ]

It's fine! I'm okay. Don't worry about it.

[Alan sags a little, all the tension from a moment ago gone from his body.]

Y-yeah. I'm okay.
