I hope the promotion or whatever was worth it, 'cause they sure as hell know that I'm part of the club now, and that means they can probably take out my family any day they feel like it. So, really. Thanks for that one. I can't wait for all those sleepless nights wondering if my parents are going to mysteriously vanish tomorrow.

...Anyway, like I said, I'm pretty sure I'm on their shit list now. They got the sniffer dogs on me, so my cover's blown. Even if I wanted to, there's not much I can do to help you guys at this point, so it looks like I'm bowing out of the club. My parents are already treating me like I'm a serial killer - they don't know where they went wrong with me, that kind of thing. You'd think it was something a lot more serious than drugs. I dunno, maybe I'll use that as leverage... They always threatened to send me out to California with my relatives if anything went wrong. Like in those movies. Maybe they'll cart me off for real after this.

[A hollow laugh. Seeing his parents scramble to come up with solutions to a situation they were so utterly unfamiliar with was kind of... ridiculous, really. And not in a good way, either.]

Don't know if I'm being followed; could be for all I know. They didn't hurt me, they just kept me around for a day and let me go, so I've been back a while now. Things just kind of went crazy so I held off on saying anything until now.

Weirdest thing was the sniffer dog, but it's not like that's any surprise.
