[After going through the network a bit Maggie is well. A touch unsettled. More than a touch, really. This is voice only since she isn't about to go showing her face off to anyone. She's booted up a voice modifier on her laptop for extra caution--though that may make it a touch difficult to differentiate between the two people speaking.]

So. This isn't the first time my friend and I have come across this thing. Personally speaking I was a little freaked out about it.

[ Kavi is not much better off. he has no issue with the extra precautions taken. they do not know what this is really all about. no reason to take further risks by revealing their identities so quickly. ]

Not to mention that everything that we've read so far is... It's a little hard to believe it's not some elaborate prank or hoax.

Given how this [What to even refer to it as] network? Is accessed, and some of the things we have read we've been able to figure out that it isn't so. So I guess what we're seeking are answers, if anyone is willing to share them.

Answers and maybe assurance that we are not losing our minds. [ chuckle. this is nerve wracking! ]

Yea that. That would be nice. [Her laugh is more just a unsure huff.]

If we can also have the chicken wanton tacos.

[ he likes both, really. but he can't help but give her a hard time. ]

You drive a delicious bargain, sir. I guess I have no choice but to agree.

All right... I think the pretzels should be the final item. What say you?

[This was fun. It had been a while since she had just gone out to eat and drink with someone. She starts looking at some drinks for herself now.]

By the way. Three. Drinking is better than I thought it'd be. [That's a wink you are getting]

[verbalization]

[ he is getting a fruity drink and no one can stop him. the man does indeed love his sweets. ]

It's all about the company, I find.

[Maggie might follow suit, at least to begin with]

Oh, well that certainly makes things a lot better. But curling up on the couch with a good book and some wine is always a good way to spend the day as far as I'm concerned.

That's one way to spend an evening. I might spend most of my evenings just zoning out to the music on my iTunes.

[ his life. he doesn't really have much of one. Kavi chuckles and places the order for the food and his drink. ]

Ooh, what kind of music do you listen to?

[verbalization]

Maybe you'll just have to come over and find out.

Maybe I will do that. I'll puzzle you out yet. Why, I might even come to learn what your favorite color is one of these days.

Ah... But if you puzzle me out then the mystery that is me will forever be lost. You wouldn't want that, now would you?

Well, no matter how much you may come to know someone or something, there is always something more to learn. I don't think I have to worry about ending the mystery.

Are you this curious about all of your new neighbors?

We haven't actually had new neighbors move in in a long time. At the very least not since I returned from college. I would say yes--especially if they are my age.

[verbalization]

Ah... I figured that there would be people flocking to this city.

[bibliofilo]

Oh, I wouldn't be surprised. There is a lot to be found here after all. [Apparently aliens and mythological creatures included]

It's just our little neighborhood that doesn't seem to have changed too much. Either way I guess I just like learning about people in general.

[verbalization]

You would have to be interested in people. I do not know of that many that would be traditional and arrive with a house warming gift these days.

Really? [She actually hadn't thought much about it, but now that she was, she supposed it was a bit unusual.]

Well. Being somewhere new and not knowing anyone isn't the funnest experience. I hoped to lessen that a bit. [She seems a bit sheepish now]

[verbalization]

I didn't say that it was a bad thing. It helped me to make a friend right away, didn't it?

[ Kavi smiles. in truth, he hadn't had the time to really go out and make friendly with the locals. this is something he should change... ]

[It makes her happy to hear him say that, and when the drinks arrive she raises her glass]
