[After going through the network a bit Maggie is well. A touch unsettled. More than a touch, really. This is voice only since she isn't about to go showing her face off to anyone. She's booted up a voice modifier on her laptop for extra caution--though that may make it a touch difficult to differentiate between the two people speaking.]

So. This isn't the first time my friend and I have come across this thing. Personally speaking I was a little freaked out about it.

[ Kavi is not much better off. he has no issue with the extra precautions taken. they do not know what this is really all about. no reason to take further risks by revealing their identities so quickly. ]

Not to mention that everything that we've read so far is... It's a little hard to believe it's not some elaborate prank or hoax.

Given how this [What to even refer to it as] network? Is accessed, and some of the things we have read we've been able to figure out that it isn't so. So I guess what we're seeking are answers, if anyone is willing to share them.

Answers and maybe assurance that we are not losing our minds. [ chuckle. this is nerve wracking! ]

Yea that. That would be nice. [Her laugh is more just a unsure huff.]

What is the best way to keep safe? There doesn't seem to be a lot known about whatever this enemy is. Heck, not even about what or who we are supposed to be/

what we know about the enemy is limited, it's true. we know they have human allies in high places, we know they aren't human, and we know that they have and can give people the abilities beyond that of a normal person, such as super speed and strength. you know, the kind of thing you'd expect to see in a comic book. once you get your numbers something in your body changes. for lots of people the change is obvious, but even if it's not, even if you look the same, something is different. they have dogs that can sniff us out. for a while the water here made us react weird. they put something in it that only affected people with numbers.

if you really wanted to stay safe the only thing you can do really is be a hermit. but if you're less paranoid like that, which you are likely, than just staying away from the police and stuff like that should be enough.

[Ah, now this definitely helps a lot. She had wondered what the point of the water that made you laugh a lot was all about. Now it makes sense.]

That is very, very helpful. Thank you. Honestly I had been wondering if what we were dealing with was human or not, there hadn't been any clarification that I had seen so far.

Is this really limited just to Locke City?

we don't really know. we forget whats happening when we leave so we can't check it out, but thundercorp seems to be there main point of operation.

Does that include things outside of the network? For example, if we were too meet with someone who. Hrm. Who say had a tail in person, would we completely forget about them?
