1st ♌ page ► voice
[After going through the network a bit Maggie is well. A touch unsettled. More than a touch, really. This is voice only since she isn't about to go showing her face off to anyone. She's booted up a voice modifier on her laptop for extra caution--though that may make it a touch difficult to differentiate between the two people speaking.]
So. This isn't the first time my friend and I have come across this thing. Personally speaking I was a little freaked out about it.
[ Kavi is not much better off. he has no issue with the extra precautions taken. they do not know what this is really all about. no reason to take further risks by revealing their identities so quickly. ]
Not to mention that everything that we've read so far is... It's a little hard to believe it's not some elaborate prank or hoax.
Given how this [What to even refer to it as] network? Is accessed, and some of the things we have read we've been able to figure out that it isn't so. So I guess what we're seeking are answers, if anyone is willing to share them.
Answers and maybe assurance that we are not losing our minds. [ chuckle. this is nerve wracking! ]
Yea that. That would be nice. [Her laugh is more just a unsure huff.]

[ amused! ]
We sure do dream big don't we?

Dream big or go home. No ambitious dreams for Little Kavi?

[ not to mention that would have been his mom. thanks, Maggie. you have now sort of given him a vision of her. 8T ]
But no. I am quite content where I am. Mostly.

...And maybe I wanted to play at nightclubs. They seemed like fun when I was a teen.

[Why Kavi she didn't think you had it in you.]

[ good lord, woman. don't fluster him. ]
no subject
Of course. Why I had nothing else in mind.
[But this is actually something new]
What do you play?

[ at least hearing her laugh is a good thing. the tension had been getting a little much. humor is a good way to ease it. ]
Anyway... The saxophone. I tried something like a clarinet but it just didn't have a sound that I liked.

Sounds like it was fun nonetheless. Never could manage to get a sound out of anything myself.

"You don't blow into it, you blow over it."
What the hell do you think I'm trying to do?
[She waved her hands in mock despair]
no subject
[ ah ha. ha... ]
Why did you not try a guitar or cello?
no subject
They never seemed to want to.
[She dropped the fishy look before giving a shrug of her shoulders]
I should have. I probably would have fared a lot better with a stringed instrument but I was pretty dead set on flute. Can't even remember why.
no subject
you know... laughing at her fishy face. ]

Looks like we've got a few bites. Let's do this.
[Friendly Fist Bunp?]

And after? I am going out for a drink.
