He leads the way around the corner slowly-- feeling remarkably at ease for all this, his only real nerves coming from the fear that they'll lose their prey-- which only shows a ladder out of the subway and an open porthole at the top. "It looks as if our quarry has gone above ground. Shall we?"
And up he goes, first, himself. It opens to an alley, right beside that unused shop, it seems like.

"Man, I just got this ability. We're lucky I can pick out that particular signature when YOU'RE standing here. It's like there's a blast chiller blowing on my neck. It's very distracting. Never mind the people milling around upstairs," He points up, then he gestures at Lyall, "See, this is why we have overlap. I can trace it through walls and stuff and he can make sure I'm on the right trail. What's the deal with that cop... What's he smell like, anyway?"
He nods and follows, though he forgoes the ladder, using a reishi powered jump instead.
Shiro looks up, "He's at the top, inside. I think. Second or third floor. There's no one else in there, at least. Toshirou, you wanna go with Lyall inside? I can go in through one of those broken out windows," he gestures up, "and we can sandwich him."

He doesn't have the same jumping ability that Shiro has -- yet -- but he's not far behind in climbing up the ladder. The difference in Lyall's demeanour doesn't really register with him yet. He's too focused on getting to Proud.
"Yeah. And if he tries run again, I can prevent it."

With that said, he's ready, so he looks between the boys once more before motioning for Toushirou to come along. At least he doesn't have to go climbing through any windows... the doors seem to have been left open in their quarry's wake.

"If he is armed, let me take the hits. I can heal." Granted, he's not sure if he could heal from gunshots, but...
"Got it. Scared guy," and with that, Shiro climbs into the air, using platforms of reishi to zigzag up into the air, up to the third floor and to a window that had been broken some time ago. Just enough for him to reach in and unlatch it. Then he slips inside.
Now... where is that guy?
lol yup HE'S TOTALLY BEEN HERE... YUP...
He's been hovering at the back of the group, trying to distract Shiro's... 'aura sense' or whatever it was as little as possible, even though the small amount of distance probably didn't do anything. Whatever. He'll just be here, a hand on his fire pin just in case, until he's needed.

Even so, he goes into the occasional small burst, to minimize the number of steps he takes and thus any sound his footfalls have. But never so much as to let Lyall and Neku lose sight of him.

The stairs creak a bit as he climbs, but otherwise the trio isn't particularly loud, and Lyall turns off the staircase in Toushirou's wake and into the hall Proud turned down last, moving cautiously, fully expecting to see the man in it, or in a room off said hall.
