What: Going to try and talk to the guy making the snake statues.

Can your sword even cut into stone? [he huffs.] Or whatever those stupid things are made of...

Not sure. [Hey, at least he's honest.] But putting a deep freeze on one of 'em could make 'em brittle enough.

Maybe... Or at least trip them up. Freeze them in place. I haven't tested my blade on anything too hard... I have no idea what it'll cut. [said blade is no where in sight]

[Yeah, about that . . .] And where exactly is it?

[he taps his chest] Inside. I'll show you. [Shiro extends his hand, palm down, and focuses. A jet of black and red flame extends, flares, solidifies into a sword-like shape. Shiro closes his hand around it and the flame disappears, revealing a pure white katana. Pretty, but not too impressive, especially considering the fancy trick] It's hard to explain but I think it's part of me.

[Blink, blink. Okay.] Well that's handy.

[And kind of unfair, to be able to just have it at any time without having to carry it around. It's kind of tough to conceal a blade that's nearly the same size as him.]

Exceedingly. [he flips the blade around his hand in a fancy little flourish. He's still not the best swordsman in the world by any means, but ever since he'd gained this pulse, the sword felt less like a sword and more like an extension of his arm]
