He can't say that doesn't sound cool. After all, while he can move a lot faster than he should be able to, Shou was still pretty much human with a human's range of senses. Having something extra that might prove useful would be interesting, though he wasn't sure about the twitchy need to fight it would be worth having it. But then again, maybe talking about it would help Hajime control the urge to smack him some pink snake statue tails.
"Or do you think it's nerves because you aren't down there heading off the big threat that might be hiding away in the tunnels?"

"More trouble than I can handle," she said by way of explanation. The moment the man ran off, she knew she wouldn't have been able to keep up with Lyall and the others. And the moment the statues started moving- well, that was self-explanatory. Heightened smell and hearing didn't do much to help when being attacked by huge pink snakes. Reilanin wasn't that stupid. She knew when she'd be better off gone.
She looked between the two and awkwardly settled on Shou. "Nothing out here?"
