Britany Ruff arrived soon enough. She didn't have a lot on her, seemingly - but one thing she did have was that collar she'd mentioned days ago, twirling in her hand.

"You look afraid," she observed aloud to Bakura, before glancing at the others who were starting to gather.

The white haired teen scowled, shoulders hunching just a touch. "Worried, not afraid," he corrected. "Last time we did something like this it turned out to be a trap and people nearly died. Trying to avoid that this time...."

"Meh. Don't get paranoid about it. Have exit plans ready to trigger, preferably some way to wreck statues, and don't let yourself get tired on the way down. That's plenty of preparation, I think."

"I'm not being paranoid, I'm being cautious," Bakura's scowl gave way to a sigh. "At this point, all I can do is trust in everyone else and I'm no good at that..."

"I know how that feels. People aren't very reliable in the end. But right now, if we're gonna find out what's down there... This is our best bet."

Bakura nodded. "Yeah. Only lead we really have right now, right? That we can even go after..."

"For now, yeah. Until we can figure out those stupid towers, at least..."

[shiromadoushi]

"Yeah..." A long, slow sigh. "Am I ever going to be glad when that bullshit's taken down..."
