I don't understand how this thing works. I've never used any type of software before that should let you connect to a network just through typing in a series of numbers, but here we are. From my standpoint I have to assume this is some kind of Deep Web interface, which is a little worrying.
Either way, are you sure you want me in your secret club? If you have this type of program you probably don't need another person with my skillset. The best I can offer you is a book club. Is this a book club, maybe? Since I seem to have gotten the numbers from a book? Probably not, but since there's no real rhyme or reason to what I'm supposed to be saying, I'll act on the hypothesis that it is.
I recently read a book called Hyperion. It was a sci-fi epic, very classic military procedural type thing in space. The science was detailed, though I noticed some immediate flaws in how they portrayed their ships operating, and it was subjectively a good book. I wish it had had more romance, though- has anyone read Malchior? That book knows how to mix a deep, rich world with romance and was really just incredible to read. As an individual I can't remember a book I enjoyed more and I still pick it up every now and then.
If anyone wants to borrow Hyperion I'd be happy to lend it- most of my friends have it already, so I would be happy to let someone else read it now that I'm finished. Please read it quickly, though, I may want to read through it again.
Am I doing this right? I feel like I did the first time I used a computer again since I don't know the point of this. Maybe I just bored every last one of you with my book reviews. It's like an anthropology experiment or something; maybe I should have just observed for a bit instead...

Malchior is a good one, though! I couldn't put it down.
So assuming you're new, welcome. Have you managed to do any reading of some of the earlier posts at all?
[text]
And yes, Malchior is really something. I really enjoy romance from two spectacularly different cultures...
I tried to do a little, but it seems like I'm a little late. There's a lot to catch up on.
[text]
That's understandable. Did you happen to find the FAQ? I'm sure you have a bunch of questions too, so feel free to lay them on me. I'll try to answer to the best of my ability.
I'm Luci by the way. Welcome.

That would have been funnier if you knew that we called ourselves the numbers club.

A numbers club? Like... mathematics? I guess I can do math.

I'm sure Rachel will be along one way or another to get flustered about your opinions, though.

Welcome to the Secret Numbers Club. I'm sorry to say that things are a little more complicated than just that. In fact, I'm going to send you a link that you need to read. Before you think that this a silly joke, try writing your numbers on a sheet of paper.

I'm afraid you aren't. Did you get like a weird memory or a strange item recently? Something that might be out of place but yet familiar to you?

[She lifts her hoof into the frame - makes a tapping gesture.]
...Surely if you're here you're welcome all the same.
[grainy webcam video]
[She's startled enough to actually respond in video. Holy crap, it's a horse.]
[perma-video]
Yes, I~ am a horse, darling, I do believe it's a mystery to all of us how anybody gets their membership. If this was meant to be a book club, well - they would have done very well not to have chosen somebody who needed to be taught to read!
A~anyway, I'm Cinderella! [Bends a leg and nods in a playful greeting bow.] Charmed to meet you I'm sure...
