Ew blood (voice)
[This whole post is punctuated by the sound of Angela sniffing the air.]
Blood.
It's in the air. I can smell it. I can smell everything. Sawdust, sweat, beer, car exhaust, grease, sex, fear, spoiled food, bread, blood, meat...
Oh God it was just the butcher counter at the grocery store. Why do I feel like I just walked off the scene of a quintuple homicide?
Ugh I can still smell the old pork they threw out. I might have to go vegetarian.
You people are good at weird. Anyone have any tips for having a supercharged sense of smell?

[ she's serious. ]
Luckily, I was already vegetarian.

I didn't leave the house for a day or two. It took me just that long to get used to the smells in my apartment.
I suppose you could, I don't know. Carry a teabag with you.
[ ...damn, she should have thought of that. ]
Things begin to settle down after a bit, though. You get used to it. There are still some places I'll avoid, though.

A teabag wouldn't get rid of it, but...it might help.
[Sniff sniff]
I think my downstairs neighbor is growing marijuana.

Maybe eventually it will tone itself down? Like how you don't always notice your nose in your direct line of vision unless you focus on it.
[...Great, now she can't not see it.]
Just trying to focus one or two things at a time, instead of letting everything filter in. It might help with the sensory overload. Then again, I might be full of it.

...I don't know if it'll "tone itself down", but at the least I'll probably get more used to it.

Well...maybe.
I guess it would make as much sense as any other explanation I can think of?

I'm sorry, it wasn't your cologne. I have no idea what was wrong with me there.

You've got no idea why? I thought you were gonna toss me into the tv.
