Okay, so I've been kind of collecting my parents' latest conspiracy theories as they've been coming up, because I figure they might be on to something else, after they predicted the water being poisoned a month before it happened.

Here's what I've got so far:

• some of the people on the Locke conspiracy forum started noticing that the TV was skipping seconds or even minutes of footage of whatever they were watching, regardless of channel. They think the cable company's trying to brainwash them.


• The pigeons are either being mind controlled by an elusive organization or have gained sentience. Either way, they're planning a hostile takeover of city hall. (I really doubt it, I think my parents might've finally gone crazy on this one.)


• A Thunder Corp rival secretly sanctioned the bombing of the Dead District to clear it out and lower its value even more so that they could buy it, fence it off, and rebuild it as a segregated elite city that would then turn the rest of Locke into a no man's land.


• Thunder Corp bombed its own land to try and scare the mole people who live in the abandoned houses and the sewers there into submitting to them. There aren't any big ideas yet on what they would want with the mole people, though.


• The heightened police presence lately is so that they can try and find someone suspicious looking to be the scapegoat for the bombings, sentence them for life, and instead of taking them to jail, hauling them away for human experimentation instead.


• Russians.

Also, this isn't a conspiracy theory but I was wondering...for anyone else at the Halloween party, did any of you guys recognize the monster thing that showed up? I remembered meeting something a lot like it before a few days later. Maybe it's actually be related to us (or some of us?) in some way other than just "wanting to kill us"?

Well. It's definitely worth wondering if Thunderco is actually behind the bombing! And I wouldn't put that past some of our police.

But the pigeons are just getting sick. At least they don't seem to be dying as much.

Yeah, but would Thunder Corp have been behind it to try and enslave the mole people? I mean, mole people are a pretty popular theory but the only evidence I ever saw for it were shadowy photos that you can't really make out.

One guy's idea on the forum was somebody created a virus that enhanced pigeons' intellect at the cost of making them really really sick, and the ones that didn't die were the ones who got to pass on the genes to make superbirds, like some weird super sped up evolution thing.

It...was pretty similar? At least as far as I can remember compared to what I saw that night. It had a similar shape--pretty humanlike and with black fur, usually hunched over. The thing I remember had more of a visible face that looked like an animal, though, and also it wore clothes for some reason?

Whatever the motivation, pretty sure Thunder Corp is 100% behind the bombing. They're using it to get the cops even more on their side now, no way they didn't plan it.

Pretty sure the TV skipping thing is when people were spacing out though. Still not sure what's causing that, maybe the noise from the towers.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the TV skipping stuff is from people zoning out and not realizing it. I wish I could get some better theories on that but it's kind of hard when people don't even know it's happening.
