So this is really weird and I shouldn't believe it but the paper thing works so it's true I guess. Have any of you ever run into someone, had a vivid memory of them pointing a gun at you, and then gotten assigned to the same group project with them?

Should this worry me?

I did some volunteer work in the children's ward when I was in high school. It was probably one of the best things I've done.

In an ideal world I'd paint some masterpieces for galleries and make millions of dollars on a single painting.

I expect I'll sign on with an advertising firm, either at my father's company or elsewhere depending on where I can find work.

Yeah, my father runs a successful manufacturing company, he makes upscale tailored clothes and distributes it in the US. He has a lot of shops in China, he's a Chinese national so he has some major advantages in imports and hiring capability.

Just a bit. I would start to wonder about a few things, but you said yourself that your grades aren't as high as they could be, so I suppose you do have your flaws.

I even have trouble with my grades in my own department, but I like to think that's not entirely my fault. A lot of my professors don't think I'm the right kind of person for the major, I guess. And grade me accordingly.

"Not the right kind of person," in the art department? What kind of answer is that? It sounds like they don't want to give you the time of day.

Something like that. They're more interested in people like Sara. Say I lack vision and whatnot.

If that's what they consider vision, I'm not sure you'd want it.

It's a point of pride that my paintings look like what they're supposed to look like.

I do a lot of landscapes and portraits.
