[You know how sometimes when you panic everything you know about what you're panicking about flies right out the window into the great open skies of What The Actual Fuck?

This is a thing that's happening to Kanti now.]

IT TURNS INTO A CHAINSAW
IT WAS HEAVY BECAUSE IT TURNS INTO A CHAINSAW
I HAVE CHAINSAW LIPSTICK
AND I AM BLEEDING CHLOROPHYLL EVERYWHERE
THIS IS NOT HOW I WANTED MY WEEK TO GO

They'd take pride in their daughter's ability to make friends?

[Somehow he always ends up making bad jokes at Kanti. Somehow.]

A change which would no doubt please any parent, potentially gaining you an increase in allowance or a gift of your choosing.

[They should do stand up together one day. It would be gloriously horrible.]

Then the interest you'd have accumulated by now would be immense.

[A bit of humor can be heard in his voice, too.

Joking aside, though...]

You'd mentioned bleeding chlorophyll?

Turning into a plant does sound more pleasant than chupacabra.

[Which is kinda true. Plant >>> potentially bloodthirsty animal.]

Although, have you considered having your blood tested? If nothing else, it'll determine if your blood is still blood that simply changed pigmentation or if it's indeed become something else, like chlorophyll.
flamberge: (hope -- what is that?)

Triffids? [Pardon him for never reading the book or even knowing those ARE from a book.]

Even if the reason for the change can't be pinpointed, knowing what runs through your veins cannot be called a bad idea. [Eh, kinda like a bicycle and a motorcycle are alike.]

An original concept, as well. What might the name of this book be?

Good. I hope that the results of the testing turn out to be favorable.
