It was the first green substance I could think of that was somewhat analogous with blood...

Although, have you considered having your blood tested? If nothing else, it'll determine if your blood is still blood that simply changed pigmentation or if it's indeed become something else, like chlorophyll.

Yes but plants are mostly immobile I like having legs and being able to move around. Aside from Triffids. Triffids are pretty predatory for plants... ish. [It's a really good book, don't judge her.]

Well, I'm going to get around to that, but there aren't a lot of things that could change something as crucial as blood to a different color, due to the structure of it. You probably know this already though. [Chemistry is like Biology except with more math and stuff or whatever?]

Triffids? [Pardon him for never reading the book or even knowing those ARE from a book.]

Even if the reason for the change can't be pinpointed, knowing what runs through your veins cannot be called a bad idea. [Eh, kinda like a bicycle and a motorcycle are alike.]

They're a plant monster from a book I've read a few times. They sting their victims to poison them and then take root near their decomposing bodies and feast on them via absorption and by periodically ripping off pieces with their stingers. It's a very interesting concept for a novel monster.

But anyways, yes. You're right about that and I'll be sure to analyze it somehow when I get the chance.
