Trick or Treat
Who: Bakura & Mort
When: Halloween night
Where: Not far from Mort's apartment
What: While trick or treating, Bakura spots a familiar face and decides to deliver a trick.
It was a good costume, if Bakura did say so himself. He'd frizzed his hair out into a massive mess, wild and demonic to match with the oni mask he wore. The long cloak was the only part that still fit from a video game cosplay he had done the previous year and the shirt and pants under it were from a more recent cosplay from a different video game and the candy bag was a white sack with the kanji for "Evil" written on it in thick brush strokes from yet another cosplay outfit.
But the hair and mask were the stars of the ensemble. It would take him hours in the morning to undo the damage, but it was worth it. So very worth it.
Especially so when he spotted a familiar figure walking down the road, apart from the clusters of costumed candy crusaders.
With a wicked grin that was lost behind the wooden mask, Bakura quickened his pace to catch up with the doctor before falling in step behind him, taking care to make no sound as he did so, wanting to see how long it took before he was noticed...

Of course, as he walked, he had no idea that he might be a target for a Halloween trick.

Well. This was one way to find out where the nosey shrink lived... fair play considering how much information he had on Bakura, after all...

The conversation droned on and on in a rather boring, harmless manner as he checked in with his niece and closed in on his apartment building.

He lengthened his stride just a touch to move a bit closer, staying carefully in step as he reached out, fingers hovering just a moment before grabbing hold of it and lifting in time with Mort's step.
Perfect. Now, while Mort nattered on, Bakura would browse the contents of the wallet~ Not to take anything, no, no. Just to observe and memorize any details he could use later~

He continued walking, but at this point, he'd finished up the phone conversation, and his pace had slowed. It seemed as though he was going to be entering the apartment complex on the right...

He glanced up as Mort began to slow, matching pace and closing the wallet. The address matched the one on the licence... Now, how far could he get in...?

And the elevator hadn't arrived yet~
Taking care to slow his breathing back down to normal he debated his next move for a brief moment...
Before closing his eyes and silently summoning Diabound, cloaking himself in his Kaa's invisibility.
Now, to wait~

"Mort Yokugawa," he addressed, making his voice as deep as he could, the mask muffling and distorting the sound even more.

With that, Bakura dropped the attempt to change his voice, holding out Mort's wallet as his posture shifted to his usual cheeky stance.

"Never would have figured you the type, you know," he commented idly.
