I ... I think I died. Uh, a few nights ago, before the bombing, Hajime, Bakura, and I went to the dead district. It went ... well enough. Then, I got an echo and ... I now have memories of dying back in late June. By being flown into the SUN. I don't really think it's possible.

I've been having a bit of trouble getting over it since ... well I think it goes without saying. DO we have a support group for that yet? Anyway, when I got back to my apartment though, I found this.

I think it's important, it seems pretty familiar, but I'm not sure why. I really wish I knew how to read the kanji on his chest.

Lights? You mean you didn't get any until the recent aurora or whatever? Or you mean the ones back in April?

The white scarf I owned appeared around my neck when I saw the lights in April, but I didn't really get the numbers until June.

I think the cards have to do with the monsters being sealed. Since both of us remembering that happening. I'm thinking the Egypt thing was like.. 2.0 of what he remembers since he said it was older. Explains why our cards look different.

Maybe. It does sort of make sense. But, where did the monsters come from in your thing is they were sealed during his?

I think they're different monsters. The ones I remember came from people's souls, like Diabound, so pretty sure they were new ones, not the ones he remembers being unsealed.

Wait, so someone took sealed ancient Egyptian soul monsters and made a trading card game out of them? You'd think that wouldn't be something you could mass produce.

You also wouldn't think it would be possible to kill a zombie with a card game.

Though with the black magic stuff going around, I think you needed to have one of those things to summon the monster from the card, like how in Egypt you needed one to summon the monster from the stone. So it might be like representational magic. The card carries the image, and if you have one of the Items, you can make it connect to where the monster's sealed.

Or something. I haven't remembered anything with them being around in modern times so it could be just "SO WE MADE CARDS FROM MONSTERS WE FOUND ON THESE STONE SLAB KINDA THINGS" kinda deal.

Yeah. I can see that being the deal. I mean, if I found a bunch of cool monster images I'd use them for something. I ... really don't have much to say on the magic front. The only magical knowledge I have is that it runs on courage.

So, anime magic then ;)

Though apparently the magic that Kaa use can be fueled by emotions. I think, anyway. Diabound leveled up through hate, but he got REAL ugly so I don't really think I want him to take a level in hate, ya know?

it'll power Diabound up, but in a way I'm really not comfortable with. He's god type, and this made him pretty clearly demon type.
