001 | video? nope. video games.
[So whatever means of communication you're using, you're all getting not a voice, not a grunt or even a sigh, but a peculiar tune. It sounded as if someone's playing a game, and an old one at that. And on the screen, aside from the black background, there are tiny colorful sprites running around. One of which is avoiding numerous obstacles along the way. Looks fun, right? But you can't play it, sadly.
Because upon closer inspection, it seems that the sprites, the numbers and letterings, everything is shown backwards. And that background? That background isn't exactly black in color, just dark. But not dark enough to show what seemed to be someone's face from the other side of the screen. It's as if you're looking at a tinted window or something.
And from the looks of it, seems like the player's having trouble. Now that his character has met a Grim Reaper along the way. Whoops.
Hopefully everyone enjoys a good livestream of someone playing and failing a classic game?]

I DO WHAT I WANNAToushirou was not the first person who warned Lucas about the network. And he's been told about cops as well, but Hajime never fully explained why it was a bad idea to tell them about it. Then again, Lucas never asked either. He was afraid to know.
And boy oh boy, those last few words was enough to put Lucas in a state of shock.]

[That was all he could make out, and he quickly pursed his lips. A cold chill ran through his spine. At the same time he could feel as if his heart dropped on his stomach. Getting killed was the last thing Lucas wanted to hear. He does not like this, not one bit.
...This is definitely like being involved in some crime.]

WELL SO DO I.][Yeah, well. Hajime has some consideration for Lucas's age. Toushirou doesn't. Hell, Lucas is older than him. So if he can know what's happening, so can Lucas.
[Nevertheless, this conversation is making him uncomfortable, too. Pretty obvious from the way that he averts his eyes and looks like he wants to tuck himself into a protected position. But he refuses to do that last one. He needs to be brave, here.] There's actually video of it on the network. I wouldn't watch it if I were you, though. [Even he hadn't watched the actual shooting.]
And there's talk about an invasion, and stuff like that, and . . . Look, we're still trying to figure out what's going on.
