[Ever since discovering that his number worked on more than just his small chalkboard, Luke has been scrawling, typing, and tapping it into or onto every surface he could thing of. As long as no one was looking of course. Unfortunately for Luke, the only computer in his house resides in his Grandfather's study. It's old and slow and "not for playing around on", so to do anything more than handwriting on the network he's had to get a bit creative. As for right now, the video feed shows a somewhat sparsely furnished but nice living room. There's a couch, a coffee table, a few family photos on the walls in the distance, and a few half unpacked boxes around the edge of the room. In the center is Luke. He's looking intently at a chalkboard in one hand, verifying that the video is working properly. When he sees himself standing there he smiles and puts it down, then leans in closer to the camera and speaks in a quiet voice.]

Okay I wasn't sure how this one was going to work, but this works. I'm connecting with my TV [He holds up the remote and waves it for a moment.] cause I needed to show you guys something and I'm not a very good drawer.

[He leaves the frame and comes back holding up a sword with a huge smile on his face. His voice remains quiet, but the bounce in his step implies that that's taking some effort.]

I got a sword. Isn't it cool?

[The swordiest of swords!

Luke quits brandishing and displaying his new toy, holding it limply at his side for a moment. His head tilts to one side before his eyes go wide with recognition. He smiles again and practically vibrates with excitement.]

Aria is that you? Don't worry I'm being careful. But this is so cool, you've got cool magic powers and I'm got a sword. It's like you're an awesome witch lady and I'm a brave warrior.

[This declaration comes complete with a small proud chest puff.]

It's me. [ ...She has to sort of laugh at the description, though. ] Who knows, maybe getting lessons will give you back training with the sword?

[Cue a fast paced barrage of nodding.]

Yeah, there's another kid my age who's gonna show me how to use it.

[ there are other kids that age on here? huh. Aria's relieved, though. ]

That's good! Maybe you two can practice together, then. [ she's...assuming the kid knows how to use a sword but either way safety in numbers right ]

[At least one!]

Me too. He knows a lot.

[Luke is pretty clearly already looking up to Toushirou in a big way.]

Well, be sure to let me know how it goes, okay?

[ ...Toushirou was at the water thing, wasn't he...? He seemed reliable. ]

I will. Maybe next time you babysit I can show you what I've learned and you can show off your mind powers.

[In his head Luke is imagining a full on training montage complete with inspirational upbeat music from an time before his own.]

I don't mind doing that. I've never really seen anyone fight with swords in person, honestly.
