Hello, everyone! I've got a bit of, er, well, a situation, and I'd like a little advice.

Does anyone know of a place that might be able to do bathroom renovations for cheap? My tub's a bit on the small side for a guy of my size, and, well, if I'm going to be sleeping in there from now on, then I need something a bit more comfortable!

Why wouldn't I be? Inconveniences aside, this whole thing has been OUTRAGEOUS! I mean, who else can say he can talk to sea life?

Because it's...sort of shattering an otherwise perfectly acceptable existence, and you--you've got to sleep in a bathtub, for god's sake! Doesn't exactly seem like a fair trade-off.

But it's at least making things EXCITING! Acceptable existence can get kind of BORING after a while, you know?

Nnnno. No, I quite--I quite like my acceptable existence, thanks. Not much looking forward to having it turned upside down.

You sure? It could be an ADVENTURE!

[The way he said that last word it's like he's expecting it to start heroically echoing on its own or something.]

I--I'm not really cut out for adventures, I don't think.

Nonsense! EVERYONE needs a bit of adventure in their lives!

No! I was--I was fine, really, before all this started happening. I have an apartment, I have a job, I don't need--I don't need this happening and messing it all up!

See, that's the wrong way to look at it, just assuming it's going to mess everything up! I've got a house and a job, and this hasn't hurt either of those!

But what if--I've only just started having these, what if I get one and it's something I can't hide or--or explain! I'm pretty much finished, is what--is what I am.

Well, a lot of them can't be explained! I mean, I dunno how I talk to fish, I just know that I can talk to fish!

And you've got a big group of people here that can help you out with anything, so you shouldn't worry! We got your back!

If you must--if you must know, I mean, if we're being honest, I've found the group of people to which you're referring to be...the opposite of helpful. Incredibly unhelpful, in fact.

Really? That's too bad...I've met some great people through this thing!

I think it might have something to do with the fact that the average age of the numbers club is somewhere around fifteen years old.

Ah, well, you know. Kids will be kids! I drive a school bus for a living, so you could say I'm used to it!

Don't know how you manage that, mate. Drive me up the wall, they do.

Aw, you just have to know how to deal with them! How to think on their level!

No, I'm--I think I'm perfectly fine on my own level, thanks.

But it keeps you young!

I'm not old in the first place!

And if you want to stay not-old, thinking like a child sometimes is the BEST way to start!

Yes, right, I'll trawl the network making snide comments and attempting to be as purposefully aggravating as possible. You know, just for kicks.

It's all just a way they like to try to feel like they're in control of a difficult situation for some of them! Sarcasm as a defense mechanism, poor things.
