Okay, so I had my first echo.
Well, no, that's not true. It's my second echo, but it's towers he first one that I actually knew what was going on, and the first which I was conscious for. Thomas and I were heading down to the towers, but we didn't get too close before my mouth exploded on me.
Check it out!

[a moment later, she storms back into her room sounding way more pissed than she'd ever give herself credit for.] Pia! Pia!

[ugh, her head isn't clear enough for this right now. she pinches the bridge of her nose.]
I think you need to get up and put your clothes on.
no subject
Look, I'm sorry, I'm new to this. Don't just throw me out, you're okay, right?
no subject
Okay.
[her hand falls back to her side. her tone softens, but only a little. it's hard to have an argument when you're naked and also have some modicum of compassion.]
Okay, yeah. They don't hurt. And they'll heal. I just wish you had asked me first, Pia! I work in a morgue; I can get you blood. I can get you as much as you need whenever you need it, and you won't have to feed on me to do it. I know we had sex, but that... you don't just get free reign over my body now.

[she sits down on the edge of the bed. really, she doesn't know that, but she likes to trust her instincts. even with what happened, she gets zero bad vibes from Pia.]
I guess I'm just going into overdrive here. [nothing wakes a girl up like misguided anger.] I'm not even mad about the bites. You're a vampire, or past you was. It happens. You're not even the first one I've met. I guess it's... you know, the other thing.
no subject
Which other thing? You have at least five other things.

You're telling me. I mean the... lesbian. Thing. I don't think I ever considered it before last night. It just. It didn't seem wrong? And it still doesn't. [she tries looking over at Pia, but stops halfway to focus on the wall.] I just never thought of myself like that, I guess. There's nothing wrong with being gay, I just didn't think I was gay.

Just because you had sex with a lady doesn't mean you're a lesbian!
no subject
...Isn't that exactly what lesbian means?

Don't even! Sexual erasure is the worst. Bisexuals like myself have the hardest time coming to terms with their legitimate sexual identities because of stigmas like that! Being bisexual means that you are sexually attracted to both men and women. Equally. It's not just a phase in college, and it's not the same as sleeping with someone of the same sex just because you feel like it. It's legitimate and it's something that actually exsists beyond male fantasy. [She huffs, flopping back onto the bed.] It's very possible that could be how you feel, but I wouldn't label yourself without more experience. Chances are if you've never felt bi before than you probably aren't, but don't limit yourself. Jumping into a sexual label, especially one of the non-heteronormative type, is a big deal and shouldn't really be joked about so easily.
[She stares at Brooke, rant finished.] Have you seen my nipple ring?
no subject
I think I was sleeping on it. [she twists her back and points to an imprint on her butt.] It should still be in the bed. I'm... sorry, Pia. I didn't know this was such a big deal. I didn't even know sexual erasure was a thing. How do you know so much about... all this? The sexuality stuff.

You don't have to tell me you're passionate. Damn. [even if she hadn't been bitten several times, she definitely has good feelings about last night, from what she can remember.] Sorry. The opening was too good. Um.
Wait, you weren't allowed to know about this stuff at home? How strict were your parents? Even I figured out what gay and lesbian mean. Well, sort of.

So what did they do when you found out? I mean, about you being bi. Or have you not... told them yet?
no subject
They pulled me out of school and kept me locked up for a while. They lectured me. My mom cried a lot. My dad was actually angry...but I try not to think about it. [She frowns, screwing her piercing back on.]
no subject
[she gives a quiet, almost embarrassed laugh and averts her eyes.] This is where you'd say something like "let me help take your mind off it" or something, isn't it.
no subject
And I love my life now. Er--well, I loved it until all this weird stuff started to happen. [She frowns slightly, then shrugs, stretching.] Let's go get some breakfast, my treat. Or...well, someone's treat.
