[[The image that accompanies the text is of Bakura's arm. Or rather, the contraption attached to it.]]
Anyone recognize this thing?
Alternately, any tech guys who want to poke at it and figure out how it works?
[[Private to Hajime]]
It has got to be your day off by now, you've been on the past week solid.

[[Private to Hajime]]
It has got to be your day off by now, you've been on the past week solid.
[Action!]
Yet slowly, the death grip relaxed.
It was different enough. Even if he was going fast, it was in open air so the normally near paralyzing fear and panic wasn't materializing. The fear of being trapped wasn't there. Nothing could trap him with this wind....]]
[Action!]
There. That wasn't so bad, was it?
[Action!]
His legs did not get the memo, however, and he stumbles before winding up sitting on the ground in an ungraceful pile]]
Aaa... I think the adrenaline.... [[admits with a small, awkward laugh, hand over his heart which is still beating rather fast.]] I guess I panicked a little after all! But not like with cars.... so... I think... I think that works... [[exhales slowly with another small laugh before attempting to get back up to his feet]]
[Action!]
The first ride's always the wildest. You sure you're okay?
[He'll move to help Bakura up.]
[Action!]
[Action!]
I know a garage where we could get you one for cheap. Might need a little work, but I do all the maintenance on this baby myself, anyway. She runs pretty good for a 2004 model, I'd say.
[Careful, his motorcycle otakudom might come out in full force.]
[Action!]
[Action!]
[Hajime frowns and rubs at the back of his neck.]
Not like I can remember what you need for that to begin with. I had my regular license first, and I had a practical exam with the bike...
[Action!]
[Action!]
I can't remember if you have to have one or not, honestly...I just remember that I already had it, so all I had to do was a little bit of riding in front of them to get the motorcycle license. You should look into it.
[Action!]
Would you teach me...? How to drive it, I mean...
[Action!]
[Translation: this bike is sized for someone Hajime's height, hence a little bit of embarrassment there on his part. It might not be entirely comfortable for Bakura to drive much.]
[Action!]
Bakura doesn't comment on the fit, however, and just nods with a smile]] That would be awesome, thank you!
[Action!]
Now...what's this about a deck? And what's in that bag?
[Action!]
[[and with a grin he shrugs the bag off his shoulders, unlocking and unzipping it to pull out his Duel Disc. With a swift motion he snaps it onto his arm, activating it. The discjerks to life, snapping together and rotating around, a wave of eletricity washing over the playing field with an eletronic sound.]]
This came with the deck...
[[He draws a card, slapping it face up on to the field. Seconds later a dark aura appeared in the air in front of him, a creaturematerializing from within it.]]
[Action!]
[Hajime's assessment of the technology cuts off once he sees that creature materialize. Pure reflex kicks in, and he springs back, assuming a combat position as his belt flashes into view. The buckle's green as it is when he's in his bug-monster form, not the usual red it takes when it's just him and the belt.]
[Action!]
...It's not real, Hajime... it's a hologram. Here, see? [[he picks up a stick and reaches forward, waving it back and forth through what he can reach of the illusion]] It's okay, it's not going to attack or anything!
[Action!]
[He's awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck now.]
It's a pretty realistic-looking hologram...the stuff it's wearing kind of reminds me of some of the monsters I remember, I think that might be what set me off...
[Action!]
[[Bakura pulls the card off the disc, the image vanishing]]
A lot of them look pretty different from each other. [[he walks over, holding the card out for Hajime's inspection.]] Most of the ones in my deck seem to be occult type. Lots of ghosts, ghouls, zombies and nasties.
[[he pauses, blinking, pulling out the deck and rifling through it]]Though there was this one...
[[He pulls out a card and holds it out along with Dark Necrofear.]]
[Action!]
[Hajime's got kind of an odd look on his face as he looks at the other card. A card devoted to a bug-monster is stirring some of the feelings he'd picked up after that memory with someone with his face and the stone slab and the imprisonment...]
Weird how they look different from mine.
[He'll pull his only card out to compare.]
[Action!]
[Action!]
[He's looking towards Bakura's hologram thing. He is not at all sure he'd want to know what this card might contain in this case, and he hates letting the card out of his grasp, anyway. Hard not to, since he has trouble maintaining a human form without it.]
I'd assume this one wouldn't work in yours, either.
[Action!]
[[He holds out his arm with the disc with a grin. Gonna slap it down, Hajime?
[Action!]
The hologram that comes up is fuzzy and prone to flickering out, like there are some compatibility issues, but it's recognizable enough. The hologram is of Hajime himself...or his human form, anyway. Hajime, missing a shirt and wearing a completely different sort of weird belt.
Hajime himself is visibly freaked out by this.]
[Action!]
He hadn't... actually expected that to work. And that it did...]]
...holy shit, Hajime, that's you...
[[a blink]] The guy with your face....! [[realizing suddenly]]
