Julien thinks he got some kind of flu from 'other' him that wiped out a lot of people. We're in an enclosed space right now. We don't want to risk spreading whatever this is, but unless someone's got a quarantine station, I think leaving Locke is our best bet. Until we can get this sorted, I mean.

I'm hoping one of you clever guys and gals have a better idea.

I'd hope you weren't driving if you felt out of it. If you get whomever's driving to head there, I can bike ahead of the car and lead you to a good spot. Intact roof, minimal structural damage, some basic furniture, the works.

For an abandoned place that is.

Did I ever say, me and my friends broke into an abandoned mall once just to see it. But it wasn't totally, actually abandoned and there were dogs, so we just hoofed it like rabbits. [He not-laughs, a short partial exhalation that then leads to coughing a couple times... which again doesn't sound as loud or dramatic as in humans. High pitched and soft. Julien audibly swallows.] Ugh...

Heeeeh, no, you didn't. Haven't gone into any malls yet, most of them have something patrolling. But there's just something that calls about the abandoned, you know?

People lived there, or dealt there, or... something. It was a long time ago, I didn't have ties to the underground then so I couldn't ask. [...he means connections with shady people. Not entirely coherent atm!] Well I was more interested in going rock climbing with them really. Or spelunking, but caves kind of creep me out, so I never really... God those guys were such a bunch of motivational posters. It was fun.
