[Hello Network, it's your favorite person, midlife crisis man aka Mr. Locke! Yup, officially being 43 and winter drawing close has made that pesky crisis decide to rear its ugly little head again.]

I've a peculiar inquiry, one posed for an acquaintance in need of information. [Not like it's for him.] It's regarding the matter of tattoos. My knowledge on the topic is minimal at best and google can only prove so reliable. Now the--

[The sound of a door opening in the background cuts him off. Why it's none other than Lloyd Irving.]

Hey, Mr. Locke, my dad says he wants me to he--

[Lloyd gets shushed and motioned to come inside. Tattoo questions first; other talk later. Right before the door fully closes, a fly manages to get inside the classroom. Ugh. Some shifting sounds can be heard as Richard rolls up a newspaper with the intent to slay the menacing beast (super hearing makes them go from annoying to evil).]

Those of you who've had them done, how long had it taken for the tattoo to be completed? What design had you chosen and what would you suggest for someone uncertain of what they want? And are there any parlors in Locke City which are particularly reputable?

[Fly decides to perch itself right smack dab in the middle of Richard's desk. Poor, poor unfortunate bug and its tragic fate. The deadly newspaper gets raised...]

Any information would be appr--

[...And falls full force down on the fly!!

CRACK.

Silence...

That is, until Lloyd shatters it seconds later.]

That was your desk!  It's not supposed to break like that, right?!

...Ah ...N-no, it's not...

[No, newspapers should not be able to crack wooden chemistry desks in half...]

Holy shit! That's like that karate move but it was the whole desk with a newspaper!

Ah...

[...Where's a carpentering echo when you need one...]

[Action]

[So there's a taxi outside of the home of the family who owns the Shinto Shrine near the park in Japan Town. The driver and the family are in the process of moving some luggage into the house, while the owner of said luggage has wandered off to explore her new territory, if only to avoid having to help.

Meanwhile, over at Locke City High School, there will be an announcement of a new foreign exchange student having just arrived, just a little bit late. A foreign exchange student from Japan in fact, who is now being introduced to her new homeroom class.

She has a bored and vaguely annoyed look on her face as she faces the class, not looking at all like she wants to be there, but she still introduces herself to the class politely.]

Hello, my name is Reimu Hakurei, and I will be joining this class for the year. I hope we will get along together.

[Network]

[Reimu is, to say the least, annoyed. She did not want to be here, even though there really wasn't much to be done about that, and now there was those weird numbers she couldn't get out of her head. After ignoring for all of her first day of school, she ended up typing them into her ipad and found herself connecting to some weird forum. It seemed like it was just one thing after another.]

[text]

Alright, it seems like too much of a bother to figure out how I knew how to connect to this place, so I won't, but what exactly is this thing anyway? I have read some of the recent posts, and so far I get the idea that this is some kind of secret club for weirdos who have weird things happen to them, but I hope you don't expect me to read the whole backlog for this place, because I can't be bothered.

Anyway, I suppose I should introduce myself or something. My name is Reimu.

Who: Alexander, Banagher & Vanessa
When: Saturday, 10/19, mid-afternoonish
Where: Near the Dead District
What: Alex and Banagher decide to pay Vanessa a surprise visit. They learn their lesson.
Warnings: --

So it was that on a brisk, sunny afternoon in October, Alexander Varista found himself with nothing better to do than ask the unicorn shounen Banagher Links if he would like to go visit a certain Vanessa (surname unknown).

Maybe they could go catch a movie, he suggested. Banagher still owed him for Despicable Me 2.

(He wasn't serious.)

Thus, it was in front of Vanessa's door that two of the three stooges stood. Stooge senior rapped his knuckles against the door, ready to put on his best smile if it opened.
