The countryside was nice and the plants were singing and the birds and the sun was almost up from the bottom of the sky. The mood was set for Teresa Pyrope's quest to help the newbie LARPers where she was. [In retrospect, Mac isn't entirely sure why he agreed to this.

He had brought some foam armor of his own, even, a theme set that gave off the fakey-fake appearance of large plate armor (sans helmet, of course, he wants to be able to look like a co no-helmetted knight. A huge foam hammer slung over his shoulder casually. It'd look like he was almost excited if he wasn't burning with the white hot fires of embarrassment.

Either way, it wasn't the worst thing he's ever done, and he might as well enjoy talking and playing around with people. At least no one else could call him a nerd while they were dressed up.]
